The lights were twinkling in beautiful harmony. The flowers smelled like the first day of summer. The alter was set up perfectly. The guests were waiting patiently. My dress was the dream dress I've been eyeing since I was 8. My dad had tears in his eyes. My mom was smiling from ear to ear. My best friend was my maid of honor and she was making dirty jokes as we all got ready, making me laugh. My younger sister was a beautiful bridesmaid. My niece was a cute chubby flower girl. It was the perfect wedding. It was the wedding I've been dreaming of since I was a little girl. I smiled to myself picturing the rest of my life with Shawn. We've been together for 4 years and it's finally our day to get married.

"Are you ready?" Beth(maid of honor) asked.
"Let's get married." I chuckled with a big smile.
"Let's go." She smiled. "Don't fall!" She winked as she started walking into the venue.
The flower girl dropped flowers along the walkway. The groomsmen and the bridesmaid walked in side by side making their way to the alter. My dad and I had our elbows entwined as we walked in. Everyone stood, I felt everyone eyes on me but the only person I could see was Shawn. He had tears welling up in his eyes at the sight of me. My dad gave me away and I stood across from Shawn.

The priest said all the wedding stuff that I couldn't focus on because I was staring at Shawn.

"The couple has prepared vows and now is the time they will exchange them."

"The moment we met in 10th grade, I knew you would be the best thing that ever happened to me. I flirted with you everyday. I fought so hard to get you and finally after 6 months, you agreed to go on a date with me. I'm sure it was only to get me to leave you alone but that's not what happened. I look at you and I only see great things. I see my future in your eyes. I see a home and a family and I couldn't picture my life with anyone else. I love you more than I've ever loved anyone in my life. You make me feel how music makes me feel." Shawn smiled at me as he finished his vows.

"The day I knew I was in love with you was when you bought me Taco Bell for our first date. No I'm just kidding but that is still my favorite memory with you. I knew I was in love with you when we were riding around in your car. We were singing and dancing to whatever song was on the radio. I felt so happy in that moment. I looked over at you and you had the biggest smile on your face and I knew I wanted to spend my life with someone who makes me feel like this everyday. You give me the happy feeling of jamming out to music in the car with friends everyday of our lives. I love you so much and I'm so ready to tackle life with you."

"Do you Shawn Peter Raul Mendes take Y/f/n to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do" I smiled happily at me.
"And do you Y/f/n take Shawn Pet-"
"You bet I do!" I cut him.
Everyone chuckled.
"You may now kis-"
Shawn cut him off by smacking his lips onto mine causing our guests to erupt into a fit of laughter.

"Mrs. Mendes. I like the sound of that." I said as we walked down the isle.
"Me too baby, me too." He smirked.
