(Verses 1:1 thru 1:32 Lacuna)

[1:33] The Elder Elves were the uncontested masters of Atrolōsium, [1:34] within two-thousand years after the 1st Aloo-Ooram War, [1:35] they rebuilt their civilization and doubled their population.

[1:36] Though all was not peaceful in Majestic Atrolōsium, [1:37] as the Elder Elves were divided between the Shâydilnar Council under Mellegnǽl and her General and Champion Lyrándoril, [1:38] they usurped the rule of High Queen Galadoril, [1:38] and for many years all of Atrolōsium was in a state of brutal civil war, [1:39] until Mellegnǽl was proclaimed High Queen, [1:40] and she made Lyrándoril her husband and High King of all the Elder Elves.

[1:41] Queen Mellegnǽl made many decrees upon her people, [1:42] and upon all of Atrolōsium, [1:43] and so the Elder Elves became isolationist, [1:44] cutting themselves out from the rest of the world.

[1:45] In time this created a great restlessness with the younger generations of Elves, [1:46] after the civil war and the tyrannical rule of Queen Mellegnǽl, [1:47] these groups of Young Elves would call themselves the Váldir, the Rebel Elves [1:48] who were commanded by the fifth son of Queen Mellegnǽl and King Lyrándoril, Prince Levnor.

[1:49] The Váldir Rebels wanted to bring about a change to Elven Society, [1:50] and to interact with the mortal Human and Kävzgar Kingdoms, [1;51] and rebuild connections with the Ooramerians who exiled them from Shóngrolá, [1:52] and make amends to their Gods.

[1:53] The Shâydilnar Council ruled by their wisest sages, [1:54] wanted to maintain the purity of the Elder Elves, [1:55] and keep themselves to their noble households, [1:56] and would shun all attempts to reconnect with the Ooramerians, [1:57] whom they hated so bitterly, [1:58] for they remembered deeply, [1:59] the shame and defeat they suffered during the 1st Aloo-Ooram War.

[1:60] Tension grew (Lacuna)

Chapter 2

(Verses 2:1 thru 2:13 Lacuna)

[2:14] Maroosiea was out in the meadows of the Elder Forest of the Toron'diell, [2:15] an elder land that survived the First War of the Immortals, [2:16] and was the hunting grounds of Worthos during the height of his Empire, [2:17] that this elder forest was spared the Divine Scorn of Holy Omer's fire, [2:18] as it consumed all of Erthos during those times long ago.

[2:19] Here the ancient living trees were tall and great, [2:20] touching the veil of heaven itself, [2:21] and had many tales to tell to all, [2:22] who passed under their colossal and cool shaded eves.

[2:23] There Maroosiea sang a blissful song, [2:24] that many beasts and birds watched her from the bushes and branches, [2:25] listening to her heavenly spoken words (Lacuna)

(Verses 2:26 thru 2:29 Lacuna)

[2:30] It was there in the Toron'diell Forest, [2:31] Levnor the Exiled Prince was on the hunt for a majestic elk, [2:32] and he heard Maroosiea's soft sung words, [2:33] carried by the winds through rustling bramble, [2:34] and piercing through the shaded tree branches.

[2:35] Levnor's youthful heart leapt in joy to the heavenly song, [2:36] and the prince followed the song through the winding forest, [2:37] there he came upon the meadow where Maroosiea dwelled, [2:38] quietly Levnor watched from the brush, [2:39] for he was enraptured by Maroosiea divine beauty.
