"Continuing on the Yìnjindó̱ Epics. It is told Avmojo returned, bringing with him a great host of Ooramerians who travelled to the 9th Continent, they named Néo-Shóngrolá, thus beginning the Yúga Sújì, which the Ooramerians named this Era the Megroos Sódoli̱so, the Era of Suffering. The Ooramerians came on their flying fortress cities named Asódos.
The Ooramerians looked upon the lands, seeing the thriving civilization of the Elves and the Beast Folks living in harmony. The Beast Folks and many Elves celebrated the return of Avmojo who was dumbfounded his secret was found and taken over by new mortal creations made by his sister Anjono.
The Ooramerians felt Avmojo lied to them and resented him, some returned to Eorodos while a great many remained in Yìnjindó̱. There the Ooramerians went into the cities of the Beast Folks whom they named Sōzōshī Onos, The Savage Ones. The Ooramerians began a systematic campaign of subjugation through partitioning and annexing the Northern Lands of Yìnjindó̱, creating the Principalities of Néo-Shóngrolá, implementing their laws, spreading their faith in their Gods and creating a Caste System of Hierarchy, that the Ooramerians placed themselves at the top, the Elves Second Class Citizens and the Beast Folk the Underclass. The Ooramerians learned from spies of the Vǽnhal Council who told them of the Ahyránúl Temples and how the Elves regained their immortality and so learned of their secret in the Holy City Shómbahala.
The Ooramerians sent an expeditionary army with members of the Vǽnhal Council to Mount Drongiro. It was told that the Young Ooramerian Prince named Romó, whose father is King Mavorlós, first son of the God Löxémero, demanded entry into the Holy City. When the Prince was denied access by the Grand Guru Shavan'rha who barred him at first through peaceful means, Romó grew furious at being denied and so struck down Shavan'rha with his sword.
The Ooramerian and Ahyránúl Army did battle on the walls and in the streets of Shómbahala. The Ahyránúl Army was hopelessly out matched by the Ooramerian Army and the few Vǽnhal Wizards who used dark powers upon them, that they were all but wiped out during the sacking. Shómbahala was sacked. And so the holy city of the Beast Peoples was destroyed, its priceless knowledge and sacred schools all set to flame by Prince Romó. Prince Romó using the Ooramerian Fortress City and Super Weapon known as Oolyriauim destroyed Mount Drongiro and the ruins of the Holy City of Shómbahala, creating the Lake known as Viláp, Lake of Laments.
Yet, before the Holy City fell, members of the Ahyránúl School with the Gurus and Monks of the Beast Folks hid the Sacred Sonjivo Flowers beyond the veil of dreams. Prince Romó grew furious in trying to find a single Sonjivo Flower and so attacked all Elven Cities in the 9th Continent, laying siege and capturing these cities and enslaving both Elves and Beast Folk.
Romó ordered his sages and wizards to construct a dreaded device known as Ŏmneiro Donterór, the Dream Devourer, a hellish construct of the Chaotic Realms, which was used upon all Holy Men and Women and virgin children of the Elves and Beast Folk. The device devoured their dreaming souls and made them into the Dreamless Thralls who were used as slaves. The Vǽnhal Council were outraged by these atrocities inflicted on their people, and so broke their alliance with the Ooramerians and declared war upon them, thus beginning the 2nd Aloo-Ooram War, a war of mercilessness and sheer brutality.
As the War of the Elves and Ooramerians progressed, King Ôydinsus and his brother Prince Slivothos, sons of the God King Obopros, lent their support to its overseas colonizes. The Elven Gods fought the armies of the Ooramerian Kingdoms of Eorodos, who invaded the Aurelian Isles that they duelled with the Ooramerian God King Löxémero. But King Ôydinsus was bested and killed by Löxémero and Prince Slivothos was injured in the fight and wept bitterly in grief for the death of his brother and was captured by the Ooramerians. Soon all of the Aurelian Isles came under the shadow of the Ooramerians for a time.
In Yìnjindó̱ the war was turning in the favour for the Yìnjindó̱ Elves and Beast Folk upon the return of Prince Gyrúmel and Sehtra, that Prince Gyrúmel became the God Zhiválah. Zhiválah and his United Armies helped the Beast Folk in their war against the Ooramerians, teaching them their weapons and armour crafting along with their martial arts and knowledge in the arcane arts.
The war in Yìnjindó̱ nearly destroyed all the lands of the 9th Continent, turning the once fertile lands into barren wastes, littered with bones and ruinous shells of cities, the waters all but tainted in blood and mud. It was due to these harsh conditions that many Elves adapted and evolved becoming the first Water and Desert Elves, that a few from the alliance between the Vǽnhal Council and students of the Ahyránúl School used dark magic, once used by the Elder Elves. They were cursed by Zhiválah who branded them with shame and thus transformed into the first Dark Elves." ~The Hironian Imperial Archaeologist Guild Commentaries on the Yìnjindó̱ Epics Volume 2.
