Review:

I love history.

I loved learning both the World Wars and just an advertisement I would put an advertisement of a channel who is a great source for World War I stories, armies, battles and etc which included the very first gas, tank and the bloodiest oceans of the world.

Sorry for the author.

Now for the review!

The author did her homework for this one but doing homework was overrated.

The story was a brother and sister talking about a personal problem of the latter, she is saddened and angered on how a sweetheart of hers and a comrade of her brother wouldn't would not return her affection towards her.

The love interest is never shown but it's understood why he rejects her.

YOU JUST CAME BACK AFTER 4 FLIPPING YEARS OF MUD, GAS AND BULLETS!

Of course Bea does not understand this. At all.

The Brother in the other hand is less lucky than the love interest because before I tell you I must ask you something.

Here in Wattpad authors tend to discriminate minorities, religions, sexualities etc and etc.

The book did not include a boy with asthma.

The book included a boy who had his lungs liquified, his legs broken and a steaming vegetable at that point for even talking to Bea was kicking your foot on a wall with full force while ten cocktail needles are on every nail.

That is what it makes this story great.

An injured WWI veteran who was just screaming to die was more humble than his sister who was arrogant, stubborn and selfish and was angry that her lover who just came back from one of the bloodiest wars of the 20th century and would not return affection.

The characters are so human!

That is what was great about this book.
