Golden Swords

"That's completely impossible. This town technically doesn't exist. How can she know how to get here?"

"Maybe mermaid. Maybe bean. We don't know yet. How can we until she wakes up?"

My eyes were still closed, but I could hear them. A deep, gruff voice. A gentle voice. A few others. I opened them just slightly enough so I could see them, but not enough so they could notice I was awake.

A girl with a pixie cut stood there with a worried expression and a cup of steaming liquid.

The leather jacket girl was there. I could see a badge on her belt. She must me a sheriff or something. Then the deep voice belonged to a really short man. A tall blonde-ish guy was standing next to the pixie cut girl. He looked at her.

"Snow, I don't remember her from the Enchanted Forest."

"She could be from somewhere else."

A different voice came from a corner. I tilted my head quickly and saw two people standing in a corner in the kitchen.

And my sword next to me. My golden sword. The one I had in Neverland. I had the same clothes on. So my magic worked? Why did my tail go missing? Why did Ariel lose her voice again?

I got a headache from all the questions, and started a low groan. I stoppped myself before I got a half-second in. They would know I was awake. I kept listening to the conversation.

"Rumple, what are you talking about?"

Rumple. Rumplestiltskin. Pan's son. It still really grossed me out to think that an eighteen year old has a 30 year old son. Kind of impossible in the normal human world.

Anyway, I knew I had to do something. His son was probably just as dangerous as him. I couldn't believe I had escaped from Peter just to have another duplicate of him in my way.

I formed the plan in my head as they rambled on about me and how I got here. Grab, jump, run. They called him Mr. Gold, so I'll look for somewhere that has his name on it. He'll follow me. Then I'll suprise him or something. Like. That. Ok.

I counted down from ten.  Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. I snapped open my eyes and grabbed my sword, ignoring the loud shouts coming from behind me, instructing me to calm down.

Taking a couple running steps I jumped straight through the window and prayed for a safe landing.

Hey all! Annie here. I hope you liked it! I know its short, but deal. I'm trying to be more like Cleo and post more chapters. Which…makes them shorter. Logic?
