After dinner, I was reading in my room.
After dinner us when the inner nerd in me comes out.
The glasses I got a few years back which I his in my drawer come out
The books dad bought for me which I stores under my bed come out
Everyone thinks of me as a tough semi-popular girl at school
But at home, I really love books unlike at school where I never enter the library.
I had finished a book in less than an hour. I adjusted my glasses and locked up another one when someone knocked on my door
"Come in!" I said, putting it down
Mom entered my room. I suddenly began to feel sweaty.
I didn't know what was going on
I held my breath as she walked over, sat on my bed vesude me and held my hand
"Lauren" she began "are you OK?"
"Why not?" I asked
She laughed softly. Her smile suddebkh made ME smile
"I love you!" She kissed my head. I saw her glittery silver eyes
"I love you too!" I hugged her. But I knew I meant it more than she did. I don't know how I suddenly love love her like the way I feel for Theo.
She meant it as mother daughter love but I meant it as in...something more.
I pulled away from the hug. I had to shake thus stupid feeling
"Ugh! Give of to me!"

"Ugh. Michelle and Michelle are at it again!" She sighed "I gotta go. Good night, Honey!"
"Good night!" I called as she left.
