Chapter 14

"Dad? Where are you? We just landed in London!" I screamed into my phone as everyone on the plane filed out.

No one minded my screaming because everywhere was noisy and I could barely hear myself.

"Over here! At your left!" Dad called. I looked to my left and saw my dad jumping up and down, Micheal and Michelle jumping beside him.

"Oh! I see you!" I snddd the call "Theo, Naomi, Luke!" I pointed at my dad and luttke brother and sister who aren't so little anymore.

Aww!

We rushed to them and there were hugs all around. We left the airport and went to my place.

We were all charting juceky until I heard a noise.

The door was creaking open. Slowly.

"Fuck! Burglars!" Luke yelled, grabbing the TV remote "Naomi, get behind me!"

"Mind your language!" I rubbed my baby bump and smiled at it.

Dad rolled Hus eyes and pointed at Micheal and Michelle.

"What of them?" Dad asked.

"Sorry!" I sarcastically apologized.

The door closed and I heard footsteps. They were sharp and hard against the floor.

"Hello?" It was a voice that I had never heard before and someone I had never seen before enters my living room.

Everyone except Michelle, Micheal and dad  screamed.

She put her hands over her ears and stumbled back, her grey long curls flipping around floppily on her dull pale face. Dad sprang up to help her. He grabbed her by the elbows and helped her to balance.

The woman was wearing a sparkly long black dress with a slit in the side. She was tall, with the heels even taller.

She had dark green eyes. A roman nose and blossom lips. Incredible for Simone who looked so old.

She had wrinkles. On her face and on her forehead and everywhere.

The dress dragged in the floor as she regained her balance. She used her long, long fingernails she had painted blood red to comb through her locks.

A smile replaced her grim expression and she stood upright, looking at all of us, the smile stuck on her face.

It was screaming 'FAKE!' but I didn't point it out.

"Honey, I'm okay!" She whispered to dad. Whoa, she needed to go to whispering school.

"This is Felicity!" He introduced us to her "Felicity this is my daughter Lauren you spoke to on the phone." Dad pointed at me.

I recognised her tone when she said "nice to meet you, Lauren!"

She narrowed her eyes at me as we shook hands. I mirrored her actions. Then she smiled and pulled me into a hug.
