Birthday Bash!!!

The next day, Luke and Naomi returned and Luke had ditched his hospital night gown and put on some shorts and a T Shirt.

I got up early because they came at 5 to set everything up at the hotel.

Theo stayed home and Naomi drove Luke and I down the to hotel we had rented for the birthday. The hotel staff had everything set up through the sun still hadn't come up.

We dropped our gifts on the gift table which was decorated in pink and blue ribbons. But I held on to the phones I had bought yesterday on our way to the hospital.

At 8, guests had started arriving at the hotel and taking their seats. The food was set and the chocolate fountakn was already flowing with warm, nice chocolate.

The buffet was also ready with assorted foods and fruits. The punch table was set and everything was perfect. Today, there wasn't going to be any rain according to my Weather Teller (which is over accurate) and that was great cuz I was planning to party till night.

At 10 on the dot, the limousine drove inside and out came the birthday celebrants, their cousins, Theo and Theo's parents and my parents and Naomi's parents. Everyone clapped and Theo came out of his door and opened the passenger door for them.

Larisa and Thomas were the last to come out and when they did, everyone shouted HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Party poppers went off everywhere and Naomi and Luke brought out the ice cream cake (for Larisa) and the monster truck cake (for Thomas) and put of the car, Theo brought out the general four tier cake for everyone to share and eat.

Once the opening prayer had been taken, the party began. We didn't do anything formal. We just let every family sit at their respectful tables as the servants took their orders and served them their breakfast meal.

After breakfast, we took photos in groups like mom and dads and family photos and everything. Then people took turns taking pictures of Larisa and Thomas.

Then we had our lunch served to us.

Then it was two when lunch was over so the general party actually began. Everyone was dancing and clapping and cheering and the punch was being refilled almost every second.

The party was going great.

For the first time, I met Theo's mom. She was quite happy to see me. As Theo introduced us to each other, there was this smile etched onto her wrinkly, cute , round face.

"When Theo told me he was going to get married I never thought it would be someone as beautiful. I hope he's been making you happy dear." She smiled at me. I smiled back and nodded. We chatted for a while before Felicity came over and asked who the chick was.

"She isn't a chick. She's my mother in law!" I spat, hugging Felicity "and I'm glad to see you too."

"Oh, Congrats!" She smiled at me. She looked at Theo. Theo gave her a stony expression and she smiled weakly at him.

"Hey, Theo." She waved. He nodded slowly.

"I'll be talking to Naomi and Luke if you need me." He told me. He turned and walked away.

Felicity sighed , "I missed up big time, didn't I?"

"Yeah..." My voice trailed off. "Where are Micheal and Michelle?"

"I told you they were missing. Didn't I?" She asked, looking around again "are you sure they aren't here."

"It's strictly invite only. I didn't invite them so the men at the door would probably send them back." I shrugged.

"Oh...yea." She said. "Where's your dad?"

"I'm right here. Congratulations, honey." He hugged me.

"Hey. Dad. Thanks. That means a lot. Thanks for coming." I smiled at him.

"I haven't seen those kids since for ever!" He said.

"You video chatted them just a week ago." Felicity reminded him.

"Oh yea." He nodded "but it feels like forever ago!' He laughed. " I just talked to them. Funny little children, they are."

"Yup." I said.  "See ya." I walked into the crowd, making sure everything was going smoothly. People kept on telling me the food was great.

Naomi pulled me to meet two old looking people.

"These are my parents." Naomi said. "Parents, this is Lauren. Lukes sister."

"Hey. Congrats." Her mother said, without smilkbg "the glasses look expensive."

"Yes. They are. Very." I nodded.

"Why pay so much for just glasses?" Her dad asked, looking at one of the glass cups on a near by table dismissively "how much was the whole party?"

"More than a hundred million..." My voice trailed off.

"What? Waste of money, if you ask me." Her mother scowled.

"Umm...mom, don't be so rude." Naomi spat.

"Don't talk to your mother like that!" Her dad shouted. "Let's go!" He lead his angry wife away.

Naomi rolled her eyes "never mind them, cheap skates!"

I smiled. Right.

After a lit of dancing, we had dinner.

Then the cake was cut and the presents were opened and everyone returned to their various homes after we had the closing prayer.

All the opened presents were delivered to our house. we thanked the hotel - again - for letting us celebrate there.

Naomi and Luke took their car and I drove with Felicity and the rest. We dropped Felicity, Naomi's parents and Theo's parents at a hotel (Luke payed) for just one night.

"Luke's gonna come and take you guys to the airport tommorow." I told Felicity. She nodded and told me goodbye.

We drove home, all happy about the succeful party that had just concluded. When we got home, I gave Larisa and Thomas their new iPhones and they were more than happy. I also gave them phone cases to prevent breakage and they couldn't thank me enough.

Turns out, Naomi and Luke stopped off at a bar to get the four adults some beer and some juice boxes for the kids so they got home later than us.

That day, the kids stayed up as late as they wanted. So did the adults. We watched movies together and drank and toasted to their with birthday.
