Eris' hair seemed to brighten in the moonlight. He looked down and stared at the asphalt as they crossed the street. He snorted, then bursted out laughing.

"So...Jax..." He snorted between every other word, "do you...like...Shilo?"

Jax growled at him, "No, I don't. Besides, he probably doesn't even like me."

Eris tuned to him with an enthusiastic face, "So you DO like him!"

Jax kicked him in the shin and growled, "I said I don't!"

Eris lifted his leg and rubbed it forcefully. "HEY THAT HURT!!!"

Jax kept walking. "That was the point."

Eris and Jax arrived at the front door. Eris reached down and lifted the mat to get the house key.

He opened the door and left it open as he ran upstairs until Jax went inside to close and lock it. It took him about five minutes to close the door, since he had no recollection of how to do so.

When Jax turned around, he could see Eris, shirtless and only in boxer-briefs coming down the stairs

Eris stretched and yawned as he slumped onto the couch in the living room.

"What are you gonna do?" Jax asked.

"I'm gonna sleep on the couch, man, I mean, it's way more comfortable than my bed right now." Eris put some earbuds in. "So, goodnight, I guess."

Jax stood there for a bit, then went up to his new room.

It was excessively tidy. It was averagely small as well. He could see a television on some kind of desk-drawer conbonation desk drawer. His bed was pretty big. The sheets were flat and smooth. The pillows were cold and fluffy.

An alarm clock and lamp stood on another desk beside his bed. It was currently 12:57 P.M.

Jax slowly slid into the sheets and felt the full experience of the bed. It was warm and cool at the same time. Very comfortable.

He sat up and slowly grabbed the hem of his shirt to slide it off. Once he let the cool air touch his torso, he immediatley went back and sank into the sheets once more. The softness put him to sleep in a snap.

Rona stood there, her back facing Jax. Jax walked up to her slowly, and he stopped before her. She turned around and looked at him with a smiling face, her hands behind her back.

  "Jax..."

He gave her a blank expression, as he leaned in towards her, closer and closer. She leaned back, hesitant, but allowed her urges to take in. Jax held her waist, and Rona put her paw on his shoulder.

They both leaned into each other and embraced, giving one to the other, a deep and entrancing ki-

Jax woke up urgent and alert. The alarm clock beeped rhythmically. Jax shook his head and sighed solemnly as he pushed the off button.

He stared at the window, the sunlight peering through. Jax got out of bed and stood up. He walked over to the window and looked out. The frost on the grass looked like snow. Winter was here.

  He checked the clock again.

  It was 9:21 A.M.
