Gulf trode across the sand, Grain was with friends that she didn't have while she was alone.
She walked along the shore, occasionally gazing into the forest's edge, thinking about Kobi, wondering where she was.
Notging but the sound of the crashing waves interrupted the silence of the morning until Gulf heard frantic chirps coming from behind her, "Gulf! Gulf!"
She turned around to see Mussel, Grain's best friend, running as fast as his twiglike legs could carry him.
"What is it?" she clicked.
"It's your brother, he went into the forest!"
