"Ahhhh" A bright white light burned my eyes as I shot up out of bed.
"Carly are you ok?" Connor asked. I couldn't see a thing. Sitting n my bed rubbing my eyes I heard more feet running getting closer and closer
"yeah I'm fine" I said finally regaining my vision "I just I thought I saw a mouse ya know," They all stared at me blankly "I'm fine I promise you"
Connor nodded telling the other guys to go back "Alright well its 2 am better get back to-"
"Actually maybe I'll sleep on the couch" I grabbed my blanket and my pillow pushing Connor out of the way and went downstairs. Setting up my bed I put my pillows on one end and laid the blanket across. I laid on the couch getting really comfortable when I realized I left my phone in my room. Sighing I got up and ran back upstairs to my room. "Where is it?" I looked at my desk, in my bed, and on my nightstand but I still couldn't find it
"Looking for something?" I turned and saw Connor standing in my doorway waving my phone in his hands
"oh you have my phone" Walking over I tried taking it from him but he held it above his head where I couldn't reach "Um Connor can I have my phone back?"
"In the morning"
"But I have to text mom"
"Already did and she said not to let have your phone with you when you should be asleep"
"I have to text Nicola" I lied
"You get it back in the morning" He shoved my phone in his pocket "Dont worry I'll charge it, now get to bed"
"Fine" I walked back down stairs laying back on the couch. I waited and listened closely waiting to hear Connor's door shut. When it finally did I carefully got off the couch and snuck into the kitchen. Grabbing a mug I filled it with hot water. "Now where are those hot chocolate packets" I searched through all the cabinets until finally I found what I was looking for. It was a big can of hot chocolate powder. I added 3 spoonfuls of that mixing it together and adding whipped cream to top it off. I carefully picked it up setting it aside. Looking through the cabinets I found a few cookies to munch on while I watched TV
"Little early for food I would think" I jumped dropping the cookies on the floor
"Oh my god you scared me" I turned and saw Trevor standing there holding in his laugh "You know you want to laugh"
"Yeah but I don't wanna wake anyone up" he walked over and picked up the cookies throwing them out. He opened up the cabinet and grabbed the whole pack of cookies "So what were you gonna do with this hot chocolate and cookies" he opened the pack and started eating one
"I'm leaving them out Santa what does it look like I'm doing"
"Well to me it looks like you're trying to control your cravings it sounds like its your time of the month"
"Uhh...shut up" I scoffed as I pushed him into the counter "If you really must know I was gonna sit up and watch movies" Which wasn't a complete lie. I just didn't wanna fall back asleep and have another weird dream.
"Sweet I'll join you" Trevor reached up grabbing a mug and filling it with water "What movies were you planning on watching?"
"Well I was going to watch 'Mean Girls' but since I have an unexpected guest joining I'll have to find another movie"
