They Call You Crybaby

*Rose's pov*

    It was after school. Me and Juleka were walking to her house. My mom agreed to let me sleep over, since it was Friday and every chance I get I beg to stay over. I practically live here.

    "Juleka what do you want to do this weekend?" I asked my best friend. She was silent before replying. "How about tonight we watch horror movies. My parents are out for the month. I got $450. Maybe tomorrow morning we can go to the Dupain-Cheng bakery for breakfast. Then go window shopping." was the reply.

    I hummed happily when we were at her door step. As she unlatched our arms, to get here keys, I whined missing her warmth. She pushed it open. "You can set you things anywhere." Everytime I had a chance I requested to go to the girls house. After all she was a girl I protected in kindergarten.

*Flashback* (still Rose's pov)

    It was the first day of kindergarten. I was ecstatic to meet new friends. That day I wore my bright pink shirt that has a bunny on it, with white shorts and bright pink sandals. I got to the bus stop and waited for it with my mum.

   I noticed a group of kids surrounding a small girl with black hair, dark violet shirt, and baby blue jean pants with dark violet flats. She looked scared. I overheard a kid in a red shirt with black hair and light blue jeans say to his friend "Oh look it's Crybaby. I guess she's back." (Tbh these kids are gonna be assholes. Ik they don't act like this but just let it be). 

   These guys were not nice.  They picked on everything from her weight to her, might I add very pretty, eyes. "Would you like me to stop those kids?  They don't srem to be nice." My mom asked.

    I nodded and she took me over to the group of kids. "What are you five doing to this young lady? She has done nothing wrong.  Now I've been watching you guys for a little while. Haven't your parents raised you better, taught you to not bully." My mum started lecturing them. While they were distracted I walked over to the girl. She had her knees up to her chest.  I noticed her dark violet bookbag with a unicorn off to the side. I heard almost silent sobs coming from the girl.

    "My name is Rose. Your eyes are very pretty. What's your name?" I said handing the girl her bag. She looked up at me with her amber eyes. She sniffled as she shakily stood up. "I'm sorry. I'm such a crybaby. My name's Juleka." Juleka was quite a bit taller than me. I gave her a warm smile. From then on we were the bestest of friends. We gave each other presents on birthdays and holidays.

*End of flashback*

    *Juleka's pov*

    I asked my dressed in all pink friend "What do you want to eat?" She paused for a moment with thinking. "Some sort of pasta." I flipped through the cookbook. I landed on my favorite.



    We got out the ingredients and began making it. When we were done  I scooped two scoops onto each plate.  We sat down at the table.  The 4 chairs only had 2 people siting across from each other.

    It was about 7:45. "Go sit on the couch. I'll there in a bit." She did as I said. When I noticed she got comfy I took down a large bottle.  The caramel liquid swished around as I took it down. Even though were allowed to drink my parents don't want my to drink

    I popped off the lid to my parents whiskey. I smelled the alcohol. I poured a crap ton into the pitcher. I then grabbed my coke. I then mixed the two. I grabbed two cups.  As I scooped in the ice the mixture started to settle.

  I poured in the mixture. I handed Rose her cup. "Thank you Juleka." She took a sip, giving me a confused look, but shrugged. I believe she thought it was normal soda.

    I picked one of my favorite horror movies, "Hush". We watched it on edge and everytime the murder almost got the girl she squeaked and hid under my arm.

    We constantly paused the movie to get more drink. I noticed midway through she was getting tipsy. At the end she was full out drunk.

    She was definitely the flirty drunk and was cuddling me. And teasing me. Honestly she was be super cute. I asked her in the middle if she wanted to be my girlfriend. She giggled and said "Yes silly goose." I gave her small kisses pall around her face. She and I constantly did that to each other that night.

    We ended up falling asleep in the middle of The Little Mermaid.
