Juleka sat with Rose's mom. She cried for what felt like hours when they had only been moments. "hello?" the two looked up to see a short, brown haired girl, tanned, with thinned framed glasses. "Are you related to Rose Lavillant?" she looked at the two her hazel eyes sparkling in the bright hospital lights.
"Yes I'm her mother, and this is her.. best friend." she didn't know about Rose and Juleka. Juleka cringed at the word friend. I SWEAR TO GOD Y'ALL NEED TO STOP WITH THE SHE'S JUST A FRIEND SHIT
"Well she is resting in her room and the visiting hours open later. The receptionist should have the times. I think you two should go home and get some sleep." the tag on her shirt doctor's coat read "Fern".
Juleka check her phone "2:38 am". She sighed slipping it back into her pocket. "Yeah I should get going my mom is probably freaking out." She walked into the restroom as the doctor and Rose's mom kept talking.
Juleka quickly cleaned he face and any spots with dirt she could get. When she walk out she could feel all eyes on her. "Juleka do you need a ride home, dear?" She started fiddling with her hair. "If its not a burden I wouldn't mind." Rose's mom nodded and started walking; Juleka a few steps behind.
As they got into the parking lot she could feel the humid air surround her. She entered the car as the same time as Rose's mom.
As the car started Juleka's mind traveled to what happened. The blood, god there was so much. She could feel the tears build up in her eyes again,but she quickly blinked them away.
She sighed as they arrived at her house. She unbuckled and opened the door. "You know its not your fault." Juleka sighed at the comment. "It is. I could be pulled her faster with me. I could be hid in the alleyway with her. We could've stayed home. We could've stayed at the bakery. Instead we went out looking for something to do. So yes I consider it my fault!" Juleka had a few tears leaking from her eyes as she slammed the car door.
She unlocked the door and opened it flicking on the lights. She tossed her stuff on the couch. As she headed to the kitchen; she opened the freeezer. Pulling out the only frozen treat they had, rainbow sherbert. Now while Juleka didn't like so much it was Rose's favorite. She pulled out the drawer, grabbing a spoon. Plopped down on the couch and flicked through the channels. Eventually she settled on cartoons. Cracking into the container and eating it periodically throughout the show.
Once she was done with about half of it she put it up and went to bed. Tomorrow was another day. Let's hope there's no akuma attacks.
