Juleka proceeded to visit Rose for almost a month after. Sure Rose had days where she was worse and her amazing days, but Juleka always made them better.
It was a month and a half after the accident. Juleka had just gotten off school. Rushing to the hospital, but not before stopping at the gas station (bro idk if they even have these) to pick some stuff up.
Putting a thing of starburst, bottle of tea, lemonade, and peanut M & Ms on the counter (please tell me they at least have to this shit).
Juleka payed for them and put them in her backpack. Arriving at the hospital she headed to the physical therapy part of it. Juleka watched as Rose took the unsteady steps with the two metal bars she had a firm grip on held her up.
After as Juleka was pushing her back to her room, Rose ranted happily about her progress. Juleka stared lovingly at the girl. Rose arrived at her room Juleka and a nurse in tow.
Juleka helped the nurse to put Rose on the bed, she had only a month left in the hospital. The nurse left leaving the two girls to do their homework. Placing some papers, the starburst, and the tea on a tray provided for Rose, the work began.
It was now 4:35 pm, roughly an hour after school ended, it was time for Juleka to leave. "Rose, please let go. I have to leave." Rose pouted holding onto her wrist firmly "Nooo please stay."
Juleka walked over to the girl placing her hands on her cheeks. "I promise as soon as you're out I won't leave your side." She planted a kiss on her forehead and pulled away. "Pinky promise?" Rose questioned her big blue eyes pleading. Juleka latched Pinkies with her "I pinky promise princess."
