Chapter Three

\"If you could kiss anyone in this room who would it be?" Shay looked shocked and a little embarrassed. She looked down at her lap then stole a quick glance at Cole. 'Oh, My, God,' i thought to my self 'she likes Cole.'/

Shay looked up at me and then said something so quite i could barely hear it 'I guess i would pick c...." She trailed off at the end. Dana looked at her "what was that?" Shay looked up at him with red cheeks "i said I guess i would pick cole. Cause i have known him the longest." Dana grew a huge smile on his face "oooooooh someone likes cole!" "I do not!" She defended "Oh. Ok. Whatever you say."

Shay rolled her eyes and then looked at me "Skylar, Truth or Dare?" I smiled "Dare" i said with a smirk. "Alright, I dare you to kiss Dalton." I was really shocked! I looked at her and gave her that 'what the hell are you doing?' face and she smiled "well, go on then." Shay waved at me to turn to him. I looked over at Dalton who was staring at his lap. He looked up "umm," I started but was cut off by his lips connecting with mine. The kiss was short but sweet and it left me wanting more, anything really, a cuddle, a hug, even just a hand hold but he leaned away and looked back down at his lap. I turned to see everyone staring at us and i felt my cheeks go red. I looked around the circle and pointed to cole, "Truth or Dare?"

The game went on for another half hour or so and we decided to watch one last movie. We chose paranormal activity 2 (which i have already seen and loved.) Dana and Gabe sat on one couch, while Will sat in front of them one the floor, Cole and Shay once again sat in front of the other couch and I climbed up onto it, sat next to dalton and laid my legs across him lap. "Excuuuuuse me!" Dalton said in a dramatic voice. "Yes?" I smiled at him. "You seem to have situated your legs on my lap and i do not appreciate the fact that you are intruding my personal bubble." He said matter o'factly "Well you seem to have situated your butt on my couch and i don't appreciate that." I said, mocking his tone. He gave me the death glare the smiled. "Fine."

I woke up the next morning on the couch downstairs in my sleeping bag, legs on top of Dalton's, who now had his head on the other side of the couch. It's funny really,i don't remember falling asleep, or even starting the movie to be honest but whatever I'm awake now.

I got out my phone and checked my twitter and scrolled through instagram before I locked it again and saw Dalton also on his phone. "Hey." I whispered, not wanting to wake anyone else. "Hey." He said back. His hair was all messy from sleeping and he looked really cute. "How did you sleep?" I was feeling kinda awkward after finding myself asleep on the same couch as him. "Ok i guess, i don't really remember falling asleep though." He said. "Neither do i." I smiled at him. I heard rustling and saw shay waking up. "Hey Shay." She turned around and looked at me with sleepy eyes. "Hey, what time is it?" I checked my phone, "8:46" she looked at me then dalton the the window then rolled her eyes and went back to sleep. I looked back at Dalton. "So what do you want to do now?" Dalton shrugged. "I don't really know, you live here, you should know what there is to do." I rolled my eyes, "we could go to the park? it's just down the street from here." Dalton smiled, "that sounds nice." I stuck a sticky note to Cole's face and we headed out.

Dalton's POV

We walked to the park; which was, literally, just down the street; and decided to sit on the swings and talk.

"So..... What do you want to talk about?" I looked over to Skylar and she was absent mindedly fiddling with her bracelets. "Sky?" She snapped her head up, "Do you think that penguins want to be able to fly?" She looked up at me with a sad-ish face. "What?" I looked at her confused but interested, "Do you think that they feel jealous of other birds or do you think they just don't know that they are different?" I gave her a funny look. "Oh, sorry. That was stupid." She went back to fiddling with her bracelets. "Not stupid, just random, gosh you'd get along well with Dana" I smiled at her, "and no, i think that penguins like being penguins because they are amazing. I mean come on, what other bird is practically half sled?" She giggled. Her giggle was adorable. "I guess none. But I still think that it would be cool to be able to fly away." I looked down. "yeah, i guess." Her phone started ringing.

"That's probably Cole." She smiled sympathetically and answered her phone, "hey. Ya. Yep. Uhun. Chocolate chips and bananas. Ya. Yeeeeeees." She rolled her eyes and smiled at me. "Jayden's? yeah Montreal but he's back. Alex and Tristan. Of course. K bye." She put her phone away and looked up at me, "sorry about that, it was Cole and he was wondering what i wanted in the pancakes." I laughed. "Cole cooks?" She sighed and shook her head. "No, he tries but fails. I bet Shay is helping him."

The walk home was short but sweet we talked about random stuff and i found out that Jayden is Shay's Brother and that they all get along well, Tristan and Alex are twins, Alex is a girl and that they were (apart from Shay) Skylars best friends.

Coles POV

I woke up with a sticky note on my face, i pulled it off and read it. 'Gone to the park with Dalton for a walk. Be back soon. - Skylar.' I rolled my eyes and looked around the room. Sure enough Dalton and Skylar were gone.

I turned over a nudged Shay, "Shay? Are you awake?" She didn't move "Shaaaaaaayyyyy?" I kept nudging her, she rolled over and stared at me blankly "what?" She snapped "well, someone's in a good mood today," she rolled her eyes, "I'm tired." She said and pouted at me. "And I'm hungry, lets go make pancakes" i said and she laughed "you can't cook." I made a face and then smiled at her hopfully "you can help me!" I batted my eyelashes and made my best puppy dog face "ughh, fine. Do we have to wake these idiots up?" She smiled at me and raised her eyebrows. I looked over to where Will and Gabe had fallen asleep on the floor and where Dana was sprawled across the couch, "unless you want to feel the wrath of Goodmorning Gabe, then i suggest not." I winked at her and she laughed.

Skylar's POV

When we got back the first thing i saw was everyone around the dining room table eating pancakes. There was a big plate in the middle of the table full of them. "Who made the pancakes?" I questioned looking at Cole. "Shay helped me Sky don't worry, there edible." He stuck his tongue out at me and shay laughed quietly, "what?" Cole asked. "Oh, nothing" she smiled and tried to hide her giggling. I texted Shay 'what did you do?' My phone lit up seconds later 'look at his back ;P' i walked behind Cole and saw that there was two white, probably flour, handprints on his back. I walked over to Shay and highfived her, "what's so funny?" Cole whined. "Oh nothing." I smiled at shay before digging into the plate of pancakes in front of me.

It was almost 12:00 now and the boys were packing up there stuff to go home. I'm not gonna lie i was a little upset that they were leaving, i really enjoyed hanging out with them. I felt my phone vibrate and saw that i had a text from Tristen.
