I was sitting on the park bench picking with a chipped nail on my finger while I watched Trey stare at me from the corner of my eye. I wish this boy would go look at something else. Everybody else had finally met up and they were just talking and greeting each other. I wasn't tryna be rude but I like for people to approach me first.
"Hey" this girl had came up to me. She was really pretty and I knew she was Roy's girlfriend
"Hi" I smiled at her
"Do you mind if I sat next to you?"
"I don't mind at all. What's your name boo?"
She sat down next to me. "Imani" she said. Pretty name
"Madysen. But you could call me Maddie" I told her
"That's pretty"
"Thanks. Aren't you Roy's girlfriend?" I asked just to make sure
"Yep"
"Oh, I was just making sure."
"Yea, how long have you been living in Chicago?"
"I moved here a year ago." I honestly didn't like it here, but I didn't have a choice.
"I've been here all my life." She said while playing with her long ponytail
"That had to be tough." I told her. I knew Chicago was a bad city and it didn't fit me. I wanted to go back to California, where I was born and raised.
"Wassup my nigga" I heard another female voice talking to Trey. Must be his new girlfriend. She was kinda short and had dark skin. She was also on the thick side and had a lovely shape though. She was pretty in the face also. Ooh he got him a thick one!
"Hey Dia. I didn't know you would actually come." Trey said. Nigga, that's your girlfriend. Don't act like you weren't expecting her. Tried to make me jealous! Ha! He tried it most definitely!
"I know Cuzzo, but I had nothing else better to do." Cuzzo? Which is short for cousin. Shit, y'all don't know how stupid I feel.
"True, how's Zay?" he asked. Zay must've been her sister.
"She's been fine. You know, same old same old." Trey nodded then walked over to me and Imani and gestured for the girl to come.
"Imani and Maddie"
"Madysen" I cut him off
"Huh?"
"It's Madysen"
"So I can't call you Maddie now? You really being like that?"
"I said what I said"
He sighed, "Anyways Imani and Madysen, this is my cousin Nadia. Nadia this is Imani and Madysen."
"Hey y'all" said to us
"Hi" me and Imani both said in unison
Just then, another one of Trey's friends Jalen walked up with his girlfriend. She was tall and skinny with light skin and lemonade braids. It was something weird about her though. I just couldn't put my finger on it.
Jalen spoke, "And ladies this is my girlfriend Desirae. She's a little shy." He tickled her stomach while she chuckled.
"I am not shy!" Her voice was so soft.
"I'm Madysen" I said while accidentally popping my gum. Now that really made me sound obnoxious.
"Hi Madysen" she waved
"I'm Imani"
"Hi Imani"
"And I'm Nadia" she said with her hands on her hips. Nadia had a stature with her that said don't fuck with me.
"Hi Nadia" Desirae looked at her nervously. Stop, you're scaring the girl
Suddenly, Jayson walked up. I smiled at him and he smiled back. I looked up to see if Trey was watching and sure enough he was. He had this mean mug on his face which I thought was so sexy. Contain yourself, Maddie.
"Aye y'all ready to go?" Jayson asked everyone
"Yea we're ready. We met everyone" I spoke up while getting up and dusting my butt off.
Jayson grabbed my waist and looked back at Trey. He was patronizing him and I liked it.
Nadia

Never felt, never ever felt like this. Tell me what, tell me what this really is."
While we were walking to the mall I was texting Zay and seeing if she was okay. Everyone else were walking a little ahead of me. I really wish we would've just called an Uber, I was seriously tired of walking. It felt like we've been walking for 25 years. Anyways, this girl shorter than me bumped into my shoulder really hard and made me drop my phone. I picked it up as soon as it fell. My glasses damn near flew off my face also. I was ready to beat a bitch up. I turned around.
"Damn! Bumping into my shoulder and shit!" She said while she bent down to gather up all the pieces of her phone. She didn't even bother to look up at my face yet. I noticed that she's a lot shorter than she looks but she just has on platform shoes. I decided to walk up to her and give a piece of my mind because she did not know who she was talking to.
"Excuse me?" I put one hand on my hip.
She looked up quickly and her face expression softened. "Oh I am so sorry" she said touching my arm, "I thought you were one of those mean and stubborn bitches. They're always purposely bumping into me while I'm walking. Did I make you crack your phone?" I got to take a more closer look at her face. She was actually very cute. Her eyes were a pretty almond shape. Her right arm was tatted up. She had light skin and a long black ponytail draping down her back. She was so fine.
"Oh it's alright, I'm fine. My phone isn't cracked. Do you need help with putting your phone back together?" I slipped my phone into my pocket and reached out for her broken up phone
"No I got it. It's a piece of shit anyway" she looked at small black Android phone in disgust. It did look rough.
"I'm Heaven" she said smiling at me. Her teeth was pretty also! They were white and perfect.
"I'm Nadia"
"Pretty name" she said examining my whole body. It was an awkward silence that I wanted to break so badly but didn't know how. "I'm sorry if I'm making you feel uncomfortable. You're just beautiful to me." Wow. I was really shocked by what she just said to me. Did another girl just call me beautiful? Just out the blue? Do I call her beautiful back?
"Thanks" I smiled at her, pushing my glasses back on my nose. "You're not bad looking yourself."
"Thank you"
"I have to go now. My friends are waiting on me. It was really nice meeting you." I started to turn around.
"The feeling is mutual." She turned around and waved at me as she started walking.
I jogged back up to everyone else as they looked at me in shock. What did I do this time?
"Was everything okay back there?" That girl Madysen who was cuddling up with Jayson asked me
"Everything was fine." I assured her
"Are you sure?" Imani asked me. They seemed really concerned for them to have just met me.
"Let me know because I'll do something about it." Desirae told me
"I'm okay guys." I laughed
I turned back around and didn't see Heaven anywhere in sight, she gave me a weird feeling in my stomach that I liked and disliked at the same time. She was just so gorgeous.
