I had alot of fun today with the girls. They were so chill and nice. I felt good because I helped Nadia out with finding out who she was. It was just all great today. We had exchanged each other's numbers and everything. I was outside on my front porch just enjoying the weather until my mother came and broke my peace.

"Hey Imani" she came and sat down on the stoop

"Hi"

"Are you still angry with me?"

"Who said I was angry?" I asked her, knowing I was still mad at her from our altercation earlier.

"We can talk about it."

"I kinda don't wanna talk about it Mom, what you fail to understand is that I don't like talking about my dad much. That's a touchy subject and I know you know this."

"I wasn't trying to make you upset Mani, I was just... I don't know. I just wanted you to know that I still loved your dad." Her eyes started watering up

"You obviously didn't love him that much. How do you accidentally have a baby? How do you accidentally not know who the father is? How could you not know who the father is?" I said to her.

"Imani I do know who the father is." Well if she knew why was she keeping it from me?

"Who?" I turned to her

"Roy's father" she looked down in shame

I was combing my hair in my mirror so that I could get ready to FaceTime Trey. Instead of just texting, he begged me to FaceTime him instead because he wanted to see my face. Whatever that means. I had just changed into my pajamas even though it was early I saw no point in changing into another outfit when I wasn't going anywhere else for the day.

I sat on my bed and pulled up Trey's number, I clicked on the FaceTime button and waited until he picked up.

"Hey Maddie" he said right away

"Let's just get this over with so I could hang up. What did you want to talk to me about?"

"I wanted to talk about us and I was hoping that you would hear me out."

I rolled my eyes.

"And you looked really nice today. I would've told you but Jayson was all up in your face so I decided not to."

"Thank you"

"So you go with Jayson now huh?"

"Yes I do."

"Why'd you break up with me Madysen? Give me 3 detailed reasons."

I don't like how he was being demanding. "One, you ain't give me no attention. Two, you barely came over. And three, you never bought me any gifts."

"Maddie you were only with me for 2 weeks. You didn't even give me a chance." It was true, I was only with him for 2 weeks.

"Well-" He cut me off

"And I did buy you gifts. And I came over, almost everyday I was at your door with something in my hand. If it wasn't food it was jewelry or flowers or something. What about that necklace that I bought you?"

"That piece of shit gave me a neck rash"

He laughed, "Okay but what about the other gifts?"

I kinda felt bad because I had forgot about all the things he had gave me. I still had every batch of flowers he brought me. Actually as we speak, my phone had on the case that he bought me. Shit, I was acting so ungrateful.
