Mia's POV
Church wasn't half bad, in fact it was very very great. I arrived little bit before church started and was greeted by the few members there while I introduced myself and vice versa. When the church started I had to introduce myself again seeing as the church was now almost packed, the members were very welcoming, they greeted me with heart warming smiles and made me feel at home as best as they could and that was just during the Sabbath school aspect.
When we separated for lesson study I had to introduce myself again and told them which church I was from, they welcomed me again and the person conducting the class said that I shouldn't be a stranger and I should feel free to come and visit again any Sabbath I'd like. The lesson study went by smoothly and trust me I learnt something I had never known before from a story I had heard countless times already.
After lesson study everyone reunited in the church to close off sabbath school and to start the divine worship.
Their divine service was more than a blessing, apart from being welcomed again, the parts that touched me the most were when they sang and the sermon. Their voices were probably the closest thing we had to angels on the earth and when you combined that with the words of the song you had a real tear-falling performance. Almost everyone in the church could agree with me as tears were falling from more than three-quarters of the persons in the church eyes including mine. I wished my family could have heard them live but I made sure to record it for them, especially Jay I wanted to see his reaction when he heard it.
The other part that took my breath away was the sermon. It was entitled ' No-one Loved Like Jesus' and if I thought I cried when the choir sang I practically had a breakdown while the pastor delivered his message and I knew I wasn't the only one affected once again. At one point I had to ask the lady beside me to continue the record for me. I didn't want the sermon to end but unfortunately it did.
After that we fellowshipped on the outside by shaking hands and mumbling greetings. When that was over we were allowed time to rest, socialize and eat, food was provided by the church or you could have taken your own.
The break lasted a good while probably over an hour or so before we were ready for Bible Class, which was both intense and interesting since most of our opinions clashed and were total opposites but in the end it was resolved and everyone was content with the conclusion.
AY followed Bible Class where we had to recite the aim, motto, law, pledge and sang the song among other things before we got into the meat of the matter which was a game called ‘I Was Walking Down Jerusalem.' It was a memory game and it was fun, especially how the elder persons were involved.
We had vespers to close off the day which ended some minutes to seven. I never wanted the day to end but as people always say all good things must come to an end. And that day was way more than good but something was missing or should I say someone.
{Elijah's POV}
After I showered I found out that she was really waiting on me so I got dressed in one of the many suits I carried and insist on driving since I had taken up much of her time, even though she kept refusing saying it was just a three minute walk.
I made sure to let her off a good distance from the church. Can't be too careful when it comes to those buildings and plus rule number two states that I shouldn't be within certain proximity of any church or other religious building. Yes even I lived by rules not many but at least I had some.
“Why did you stop here the church is up more plus it has a parking lot you can park in.”
“I have something to take care of but don't worry I'll be back. Before I forget to ask, I have somewhere very important to be in the evening so when do you think it'll be over?” I asked.
And before you jump to conclusions saying I was just lying to find out what time to come and pick her up back after I leave because I won't be attending that place. You are both right and wrong, I won't be attending that place but I did have somewhere more important to be in the evening which was my bed because after the fun I plan to have while she would be doing whatever people did at that place, I would probably be drained and even if I wasn't anything and anywhere was better than that place.
“About 6:30. Will your appointment be before then?” she asked.
“No. See you a little later.”
“Ok bye. Hurry back.”
I heard her voice said as I reversed and headed in the opposite direction away from the place she was heading to.
After driving for a couple minutes I spotted the familiar yet strange place that was my destination. Mia was not the only person that did research when we arrived.I stepped from my car and headed to the club that screamed 'Million Bucks Rich People Only.' Despite that and the fact that it was day time the line was as long as any ordinary bar but I expected just as much after all his first visit for the day just started a while ago, instead of joining the line I took my time and strode up to the bouncer and whispered in his ear, he let me in the VIP entrance without hesitation and without even glancing at me properly only nodding.
As expected he was up here seated at the VIP bar with two men flunking his sides and when I looked around others were dispersed all over. He was always a man to have many of his men around him at all times even when he didn't need to.
Well this should be easy. I walked up to the bar beside one of his men and ordered the strongest drink they had and gulped it down in one go.

“EEEELLLIIIJJJAAAHHH. My little prophet how are you?” the familiar voiced asked heartily with a big laugh.
“Come and give Uncle Nick a hug.”
As some of you might have guessed my dad was not involved in the Mafia, Uncle Nick was the one that taught me all I needed to know and helped me to reach this far.
I reached over and gave him a bro hug, he has gotten a little older and chubbier but I knew he could still take out a man using only his left hand, he was right-handed by the way.
“I guess you are not so little now are you? May I ask what persuaded you to visit your old beaten-up uncle? You hardly visit since you became famous and I must say I'm proud of you.” He stated jokingly except when he told me he was proud, I knew he was and maybe he was a little old but he was far from beaten-up.
“Well I did my research and you are Thee Man around here so I was hoping we could have fun like old times for old times sake or if not you could at least direct me towards some fun.”
“I thought you would never asked,”he grinned wickedly.
“You boys hear that,” I guess he was speaking to his men via microphones of course.
“Let's go.”
(Mia's POV)
After church was over we talked for a bit and I got to know some of the members personally before I bided them goodbye and left. I intended to walk back home but I saw Elijah's vehicle parked were he had let me off in the morning. I was going to walk pass it but I didn't know what possessed me to stop and get in probably because the place was unfamiliar.
“I didn't see you at church. Where were you?” I asked disappointed.
“While I was out I met upon my uncle and he was so elated to see me after so long he practically dragged me all around the place claiming he knew the most fun places and fun things to do. I guess we lost track of time I'm sorry but when you are with him it's kinda impossible not to. Maybe I'll carry you to meet him, he would love you,” his voice was laced with sincerity it was difficult not to believe him plus he looked the same as this morning only he was glowing with happiness probably from seeing a relative.
So even though I was disappointed I let it go.
