Dear Jason,
You absolute idiot, you've been sending the letters to our house and not the hospital. Orabela doesn't know about them, and she never will if you want to keep what little junk you have down there, if you catch my drift. You're done. Never contact us again, or I swear you'll regret it.
No love,
RozabelaStelara POV
Anna is not in bed.
I couldn't find her anywhere, though I'd tried. I need to see her. To talk to her.
Sighing, I head out to the pool to clear my head, only realizing upon arriving that I haven't brought a swimsuit.
Oh, well, no one's here, and it's nothing these losers haven't seen before.
Quickly stripping down to my underwear, I slide into the warm, relaxing pool water.
"Someone's quite open about their body," I hear someone call.
I don't recognize the voice.
"I'd be more confident if you'd stay the hell away from me."
"Woah, where'd that come from? I don't even know you."
"I know exactly what you're doing, Blaire. Anna may not see past your antics, but I sure do."
She steps into the dim light and shrugs. "There's no antics. What's so bad about wanting to reconnect with an old friend?"
"An old ex, you mean. You know that she still loves you. Why would you kiss her?"
She looks around and comes closer, whispering animatedly as if telling a great secret. "How does 'for poops and giggles' grab ya?"
"Oh, real mature. You must be proud of that one, Doctor Cox."
"Doctor who?"
Of course she wouldn't know what I'm talking about.
"Scrubs reference. Forget it. Anna is a good person. Don't toy with her emotions."
"What if I like her?"
"Then you would quit this tv show, show some devotion, and ask her out."
"Maybe I'll do just that."
"But you won't, because you have a big deal with great ol' Mr. Hank."
She freezes. "What are you talking about?"
"Oh, honey. Obviously, someone hasn't been doing their research! Stelara Ford, resident Hank chess pawn. Terrible displeasure to meet you."
Her mouth goes sour. "So what if I do have a deal? I can get her as easy as pie. I have her wrapped around my finger."
"So you really just don't care about her at all, do you?"
She lunges at me, grossly missing. "Don't you ever accuse me of not caring for that girl. Just because I'm not in a position to carry out a relationship with her doesn't mean she's not important to me."
"Will you ever be in a position to carry out a relationship with her?"
She looks down.
