Chapter 13: Maria's Army

Jasper's POV

  Izzy had been beating herself up over the events of the other day. I kept telling her it was not her fault. Today she actually opened up to me today. That is big for Izzy. She never talks about her feelings. Afterward she just cried. I held her as she sobbed and said that it was all her fault. I just held her and whispered that it was not. After about an hour she just hugged me and told me she loved me. I told her I loved her too and that I was sorry that I left her. She hugged me again and told me it was not my fault that I didn't want to endanger the lives of our family like she did.

  Later that day we were all in the living room when Alice went into a vision. "What is it Alice", I asked. "Maria", she said and my non-existent blood went cold. " What about her",  I asked the Major rattling in his cage just from her name. "She wants Bella and Bella will go with her if you refuse to go to protect us", she said. "The hell she will",  Edward and my-self snarl at the same time. " She will not go with them or be any where near her", We both snarled.

Bella's POV

I had just came back from hunting when I heard Alice gasp and what she had said. I would go with her to protect my family. I might have failed to keep Chance safe the first go around, but not this time. I will protect my family no matter what. From what I had heard from Chance, Maria was ruthless, and she relied on Chance's gift. I don't know what Maria would do with me without Chance, but it would be worth it to keep him safe along with our family.

Edward's POV

  I heard some noise from upstairs and figured it was Bella. I focused on her mind and she left her shield down and I heard her thoughts. She would go with Maria if that meant for us to be safe. I would not let that happen. I sped over to Jasper and whispered, "Jasper, Bella heard what Alice said. She is thinking that going with Maria will keep you and us safe. She has it set in her mind that that is all that matters. She does not care what happens to her as long as you and us are safe". He growled. "Stay down here and keep everyone busy. I am going to talk to her", he whispered back. 'I have a plan',  Jasper thought. I nodded.

Jasper's POV

  As soon as Edward told me what Izzy's plans were I made my own plan. I walked up the stairs and too her room. I knocked. "Come in", she said. I opened the door and walked in, shutting it afterword. " Izzy I know what you are thinking. I have a plan", I said. She had a look of surprise on her face, but it quickly went away as anger took its place. I calmed her emotions and knelt in front of her. "Izzy look at me. If you go with Maria she will torture you untill she gets what she wants. I have a plan. When we get to the battle, we let both Aries and Lucy out at the same time. I know this will take a lot out of the both of us, but we will have each other and we can rid the world of Maria", I said looking right into Izzy's eyes. She nodded. I smiled. I knew this was nit easy for her to do. She was always more protective over me. I just hope her being over protective of me does not get her killed.
