Chapter 20: Unexpected

Jasper's POV

I am sitting here at the table with Emmett, Edward, and Alice trying to figure out a way how to get Izzy to flip the switch back. We each had a piece of paper in front of us, which was still blank, to write down ideas. Emmett kept throwing out ideas, but I knew my sister better than anyone, and most of them I knew would fail. "What about your old house back in Texas? You said she would do anything to protect it right? What if it burnt or something?" Emmett asked. "I am quite fond of the farm too Emmett. That's not going to happen.", I said. I felt a shift in moods and looked at Edward. There was regret, accomplishment, fear, then happiness. Alice's eyes clouded over. "No Edward, you can't do that!", Alice shrieked. "If you cannot see the outcome clearly means it will work", Edward said with a twinge of sadness, "If it means that I will get my Bella back that is all that matters". "So what is the plan?" Emmett asked. I took out my cell. I hit the speed dial and immediately got an answer. "Yes Major , you know you are playing with not only fire but boiling lava right?", was what I got. I chuckled, "Yes Captain, I do". " I love it. We are in! See you in a few hours Major".

We had our plan in place. Everyone was ready. I stretched my gift as far as I could and found what I was looking for, a void. She was here.  "Damn it Edward, what did I tell you. She couldn't handle it! You knew she was not stable but you had to say it didn't you? You had to say she wasn't good enough." I yelled. I was getting myself riled up. I had to make it believable. We both had to make it believable. "If she was not so weak minded she could have handled it!", Edward yelled back. I just about lost it. I hate when people talk shit on Izzy. I had to keep some control. "If you though about other as much as you do yourself, you would have realized she was vulnerable!", I yelled back as I took a step closer. Peter was flanking me. I could tell he was switching between himself and the captain, to keep the act going. Edward stepped closer to us as Emmett flanked us. "Maybe if she wasn't raised a weakling, she could have handled it", He said. I could tell saying these things were hurting him and that was why I made sure his back was to her.

I heard that she was right at the tree line watching us closely. I could tell she was looking between us but her gaze lingered on Edward a few more seconds then it did on me. Perfect. "You know maybe if she was taken by Maria instead of you things could have been better", He said. His eyes changed between black and gold. He was having a problem talking bad on his mate, but he didn't have to worry about that anymore, because that statement crossed a line. I released a growl and the Captain released a hiss as did Charlotte. Charlotte was now flanking my right side as she glared at Edward. "You better take that back boy", She hissed. Charlotte hated anyone mentioning Maria and especially Maria and Izzy in the same sentence. She stepped forward as did Edward. I placed my hand out stopping her. "I would apologize son. Your misses is listening and I'm not very happy when people make little sis upset", the Captain hissed as his head tilted, challenging him yo do other wise. "Make me", Edward snarled.

All of a sudden all hell broke lose. The Captain and the Lieutenant charged forward, Emmett going after Peter and Rosalie going for Charlotte. Edward and I ran at each other. His demon side was out and the Major was right at the surface ready to come out if need be. Soon enough we were all going against each other. Peter and Emmett were fighting just like I had planned. Rosalie and Charlotte were also fighting spectacularly. Emmett got a good swing in on Peter and I hear Izzy growl when a crack was made in his porcelain skin. Charlotte looked to her mate and Rosalie go the advantage, taking her to the ground. They fought and Peter was torn between keeping his fight with Emmett or helping his mate. He growled loudly as he threw Emmett about forty feet and then raced over and tossed Rosalie off Charlotte. Emmett then got the advantage on Peter taking him to the ground and getting him in a head lock when Peter did something I didn't expect. Peter bit Emmett, and as Emmett howled in pain it got the attention of the others as they waiting and on guard. Alice narrowed her eyes at Peter knowing that was not part of the plan.  Rosalie attacked Peter and surprisingly ripped off an arm. Everyone was on edge now. this was getting out of hand, but if I know Peter he doesn't do anything like that with out a reason. I heard Izzy release a hiss and growl combination and look at Peter. She was starting to come back to us. She recognized him. Step one. She was protective of him. Step two.

Step three.....

Edward then noticed where she was, when he found her they locked eyes and that gave me the advantage I needed and I took my shot. I pounced getting Edward to the ground. He was thrashing and trying to bite but nothing was working. I felt him slump as his eyes connected with Izzy's again and with one swift movement, his head was in my hands. Alice gasped and when she did everyone turned to look at me. Every one growled but one person. I looked back to where Izzy was and she was on her knees with her mouth open with silent screams. I connected eyes with Izzy and I have never seen her so broken.

After she finally saw that I was the one who had his head in my hands her emotions changed from sorrow, depression, heartbroken, and severe mourning to rage, crazed, unstable, and deranged. I could tell that she was absolutely broken. She looked at me and her eyes went from burgundy red, to coal black and she let out the loudest, heartbroken, desperate, cry I have ever heard. She charged at me with nothing but pure rage. She didn't know anyone, didn't care about anyone, but her mate. She crashed into me and threw me about thirty feet. "Izzy, its me", I said. She growled and charged again. "Bella honey", Charlotte tried but Izzy snapped at her and turned towards the mated pair. She let her golden eyes come back through just enough to let you see how broken she really was and simply said, "You helped him". Her demon came back and after she figured out that no one else was going to try to come after her, she went over to Edwards body and put his head back in the position it needed to be and was sealing it back with her venom.

Alice then gasped. I looked towards her and saw that she was deep in a vision. She came out of the vision and looked at me with sorrowful eyes. "What did you see Alice", I asked. She shook her head and looked at me with tears in her eyes that would never fall. "Jasper you just lost your sister".

A/N: Look at me I am on a roll! I am so excited that this happened. I hate it that I had to put my babies in this place, but it will work out ya'll I promise.
