A car engine was heard roaring, trying it's very best to move at least an inch. Rae was driving while Randolph was trying hard to push the truck out of the ditch.
But it was no use...
"Well?..." Kali asked hopefully while she sat by Willy and Jesse.
"We've definitely hit some kind of low" Randolph admitted. "No question about it"
"We need help" Rae sighed.
Everyone frowned in hopelessness, until Jesse got an idea and called up the Greenwoods on the truck's radio and they came right over.
Minutes later~
The Greenwoods had arrived on the scene to find the gang and Willy stuck.
"What's going on?" Annie asked as she came out of the car with Glen.
"What are you doing with my truck? And this whale?" Glen looked a bit upset and confused.
"They tried to kill Willy" Jesse explained.
"So we're putting him back in the ocean" Kali added.
Glen and Annie both looked a bit hesitant, not knowing if they should help or not.
"Glen, help us. Please help us, and I'll do anything. Anything!" Jesse begged.
"What is it that you think I want from you?" Glen asked Jesse as if he were his own son.
"I don't know. I don't know what you want from me" Jesse looked tearful. "Look, I've got to look out for Willy, and I've got to do what's best for him. You understand?"
"Please, Glen, please" Kali also begged desperately. "Willy's gonna die"
Glen thought for a moment, before replying with. "...There's a chain and a winch behind the seat of the truck. Go and get it"
Jesse ran up to hug Glen in great gratitude. "Thanks, Glen"
The gang got right to work as they took the chain and winch to connect to the back of the trailer and pull it out of the ditch.
"What's going on?" Willy asked the kids, sounding scared.
"Don't worry, boy. You'll be okay" Jesse stroked the orca whale to soothe him. "Glen's working on it"
"We'll get you out of here. We promise" Kali added.
They soon started moving the truck back out of the ditch while the kids sat in the back with Willy to keep him calm.
With only a few more pushes back... they had made it.
"We gotta wet Willy down completely, he's getting dry" Rae explained.
"The sun's gonna come up soon" Randolph added.
"I know a place we can go" Glen said as he took to the wheel and drove.
Of all the places, Glen took them down to a car wash, which was really the perfect place for Willy to get wet and washed down.
"Where are we?" Willy asked Jesse and Kali.
"Don't worry, boy. You'll be okay" Kali told the whale.
"We're just gonna give you a nice rinse" Jesse said.
Meanwhile, Dial had found out from Wade that Willy was missing and ordered all his lackeys to hunt him down.
"Ooh, this feels so relaxing" Willy said, as he was enjoying getting sprayed with the hose very much.
"Open his mouth" Rae told the kids to get Willy to open his mouth.
"Okay, bud. Open up!" Kali and Jesse instructed, giving Willy the hand signal to open his mouth, which he did. "Good boy. Thanks"
"Sorry, we haven't got a fish for you" Kali apologized.
"Oh, that's okay" Willy smiled to her.
The gang soon drove the trailer out of the car wash while two homeless man were passing by and noticed Willy.
"Nice whale" they said.
"Thanks" Glen replied.
The gang continued driving down to the harbor, as it would be morning soon.
"I don't know how much longer I can take this" Willy complained a bit to the kids.
"It'll be okay, Willy" Kali told the orca as it was nearly sunrise and they were almost there.
