the subtle sniffs they keep to themselves during the day, the unnoticed slouch of their shoulders, and their constant sighs that make the noon look so gloomy, even after a few rounds of coffee.

it also applies to people when they're burdened with something, or when they lie in their beds at night, thinking of ways how they can manage throughout this whole thing.

you know they're sad, but you still acted like you didn't know anything, because sometimes, you're afraid, and it's okay. it will get better soon.
