"Let's do it, Prongs! Let's do it!" Sirius' eyes were wide with mischief. "I want to see what the Muggles'll do."
"James," Remus warned, his voice low. "If you get caught, you're shouting lunch."
"For the next week!" Peter grinned.
James sniffed and pushed his glasses further up his nose. "Your faith in me feels great. Like I'd get caught."
With that, the four trudged to the baggage scan and lined up, when it came to his turn, Sirius placed his bag up and then turned to James, lifting him like a rag doll. He laid him out on the rollers, patted him on the head and walked off with a grin.
James smiled as he rolled through the baggage scan with the rest of the bags. However, his grin dropped when he met the glare of a furious, burly security guard.
"You look a little lost. Why don't I show you the security room where you'll be staying until the police arrive," the guard wrapped his vice-like fingers around James' arm and pulled him from the scan with little care as to how he landed.
"Ah, nah, I'm good. I think I just saw my friends. Yeah, I think I'll go to them," James waved at his three guffawing friends and tried to walk towards them but the guard wrenched him backwards until he fell over.
Remus gave him a little wave and a smirk. "When you're done with your new friend, Prongsie, we'll be waiting for our lunch. I'd like a BLT, thank you."
"Mhmm. If we're putting in orders, I'd like a steak sandwich, thanks!" Sirius called, his hands around his mouth.
Peter couldn't put in his order from rolling around the floor, face crimson with laughter and lungs out of breath.
James slumped down as he was dragged across the floor of the airport towards the security room and sighed. Well, at least this was an interesting way to start the holidays.
