"Teddy! Don't be so stubborn! Come have some fun!" James Sirius Potter yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

"I'm not coming out to tease a couple of garden gnomes just because you're bored, James," Edward Remus Lupin shouted back at him.

"That wasn't what I was planning on doing!" James thumped up the stairs and glared at Teddy from his doorway. "You're leaving tomorrow and all you're doing is studying? Don't be so boring."

"Just because you don't have enough brain cells to rub together doesn't mean the rest of us are the same," Teddy rolled his eyes.

"Whatever. I'd've died of old age if I had to wait for you all the time." With that he stomped down the stairs and outside.

"Finally some peace," Teddy murmured.

However, the peace was broken to pieces by a long string of cussing that would have made anyone rush out with a bar of soap.

Teddy hurried to the window in time to see James cradling his newly bitten hand.

Harry Potter rushed out to see what the fuss was about and simply sighed when he saw his son.

Teddy leaned against the windowsill and called out sarcastically. "Nice one, James. That's what you get for terrorising the gnomes."

Neither boy understood why Harry Potter then collapsed to the ground whispering, "Merlin. It's happening again."

Short but sweet. Hope you liked it.
