Reepicheep was on top of a rock, guarding the camp when Peter woke up. It was seven in the morning and Peter went straight towards the mouse.
"Good morning, your majesty!" Reepicheep smiled.
"Good morning! I would like to ask you a question. Do you suggest we cross Aslan's How or should we go straight towards the Green Hill, crossing the River Rush, which is now a gorge and may take time to cross? I would cross Aslan's How because we will loose too much time crossing the gorge and the Witch might find us there, but Aslan's How will make us walk a slightly longer distance than if we cut towards the gorge. The crossing of the gorge will be quicker if we go towards Aslan's How" Peter declared.
"Your majesty, my opinion is to follow you, whatever your decision. In my opinion, we should head towards Aslan's How." said the mouse.
"Thanks, Reep!" said Peter, smiling at him before walking away.
He headed towards their tent and saw Caspian, who was attaching his scabbard to his pants.
"Up already?" Caspian asked.
"Yeah, and obviously, Ed is still sleeping!" said Peter, smiling at his sleeping brother.
"Would you like me to wake him up?" asked Caspian, kindly.
"No, thanks, I'll do it." said Peter, thanking Caspian with a kind smile.
Peter walked towards Edmund and shook him gently.
"Edmund! Ed! Everyone's awake, come on, we need to get going. We can't stay here, our battle is in three days!" he said gently.
Edmund groaned and opened his eyes.
"Pete! It's so early!" Edmund said in a whisper.
"Come on, you know better than to stay lazily in bed!" Peter said.
"Well, you know I stay in bed in the morning until at least nine!" Edmund groaned, getting up and putting on his outfit and fastening his scabbard to it.
Peter smiled at him and patted his arm before heading outside. He found Trumpkin talking with Trufflehunter. They both stopped chatting and turned their heads towards Peter. They bowed at him and smiled. Peter smiled back and headed towards the middle of the clearing where they had stopped to settle for the night.
"Hi Peter!"
Peter turned around, it was Susan.
"Hi Su!"
"How are you?"
"I'm fine..." Peter smiled than looked at her blankly.
"Peter, listen, I'm sorry! Okay? I'll never do it again!" Susan declared.
"I know... I'm sorry I shouted at you two but I was worried about you and Caspian..." Peter apologized.
"It's okay... It's also our fault."
Edmund got out of the tent and looked at them, a tired smile on his face.
"Hi Susan!"
"Hi Edmund! You look awfull tired!" Susan said, concerned.
"I'm exhausted!"
"How long did you sleep this night?" Peter asked his brother.
"About three hours..." Edmund said sleepily. "But it's fine!"
"Alright," Peter sighed "but tell us if you don't feel well, we'll be travelling for the whole day..."
And they set off for Aslan's How.
