Chapter 13

Elanne's POV

"A.M #23. Choi Elanne, verified"  and the door opened, I entered the room and was greeted by an ambush of 8 men. I tried to fight them but I was caught off guard. One of the took my Caratha, two of them got a hold of me and the rest are staying on Guard.

 "Would you look at that, Elanne did came for her friend." The prime minister said, because of anger I break free from their hold and I grabbed my Lance from the one who took it and aim straight towards him. I swung my Lance left and right, he dodges every single attack.

"Your speed and sword welding has improved, as expected from Choi Elanne." he said as he hits me with Pulsation, I was thrown back quite hard.

"ELANNE!!!" the guy that helped me to get in earlier shouted with worry as he went to me and helped me again.

"Oh, Minghao-ssi, what a surprise." The prime minister said.

"Where is she!?" I shouted with anger.

"Now now, that's not the way to behave." he said as one of the men from earlier dragged an innocent girl.

"GAHYEON!!" a ran quickly to her.

"CL! I told you not to come here!!" she said but she got pushed away by the man who brought her here.

"Elanne, The sooner you agree to this the lesser pain she will endure." the prime minister said.

"Agree on what?!" I asked.

"Agree on being Seventeen's Observer." I looked at him deadly, if only stares could kill.

"Our what!?" Minghao asked in shock.

"She's going to be your observer." The Prime Minister said nonchalantly. 

Silence filled the entire room waiting for my answer. If I don't agree they'll hurt Gahyeon but if I agree my freedom will be taken and I'll be their observer. Every decision I make I hurt somebody or someone will be sacrificed. I can't let them hurt Gahyeon, she's the on who's carrying my secret for 4 years. It's the only thing I can do for her.

"Alright. I'll do it." I said.

"Wise choice, Elanne." He said with a smile as he grabs my wrist and scanned my code on my wrist.

"What the heck are you doing?!" I asked.

"We need your profile updated. Its last update was 4 years ago." He said.

"It's for the best, If you try to leave again you'll instantly die." he said as he commanded his men to release Gahyeon.
