It has been a few weeks after the prophecy was fully known by Elanne but something is still bothering her mind.

"What power did my parents possess that is more powerful than the magical border?"

"How did my mother possess such power if she's a pure human blooded being?"

"If the border didn't let them pass when they were young, how did they passed through it when they were older?"

Gahyeon's POV

"Guys, is Elanne alright?" I asked the guys who is also looking at her from afar.

"I don't really know, she has been so out of it ever since she knew about the prophecy." Vernon said.

We all looked at her and she looks like she's in her own world with a lot of deep thoughts.

Seungkwan sighed, "does she even know that Christmas is in 2 days?" He asked.

"Judging by her thoughts, she doesn't. All she thinks about is the prophecy and the power her parents possesses." Mingyu said and it made us look at him. "What?" He asked raising both of his hands like an accused person.

"How do you know her thoughts?" Soonyoung asked what all of us wanted to ask. "Yeah, how?" I asked suspiciously.

" I found out about my ability a few months ago, it's the ability to read through a blocked mind." He said still both of his hands up.

"Why didn't you tell me?!?" Seungcheol asked oblivious. "I should know if you guys gained your abilities, it's a must for a leader to know that."

"I'm sorry, hyung." Mingyu said as he put his hand at the nape of his neck.

"What's going on here?" Elanne surprised us with a curious face.

"It's nothing." I said, but curiosity got me, "Uhmm, Elanne... Do you know what's going to happen in 2 days?" I asked.

"How should I know?" She asked, "You know that I can't tell the future." She said looking so innocently and lost.

Seungkwan gasped dramatically, "are you sure you don't know? It's a special occasion." He asked and Elanne just nodded her head slowly like she's unsure of what's going on.

Soonyoung went to her and took both of her hands, "Elanne, Christmas is near." He said calmly, but then...

"What?! Why didn't you tell me!!?" She asked, almost tearing up like a little girl who hasn't gotten her candy yet.

Knowing El, Christmas is a big thing for her. I don't know why but she really loves Christmas.

"Now listen, don't cry... I'm telling you now because you might not know." Soonyoung said in a calmly manner. "It's in two days."

Elanne's face dropped, "I-I" Soonyoung hugged her and rubbed her back, "Shhh, it's alright." Based upon what Soonyoung is doing right now, I guess he knows that it upsets her that—

"I- I haven't bought any of you presents yet." She cried.

"Tsk, what a baby." I murmured as I rolled my eyes, because of that I earned a deadly glare from her.
