Chapter 43

"Based upon the investigation, the car accident happened because of rampaging wolves." The Officer said.

Gahyeon and I are currently at the police station for the investigation of the accident. It was shown on the CCTV attached to one of the stoplights at the intersection.

"1..2...3...4..5........11, 11 wolves." I looked closer and repeated the clip, my eyebrows furrowed in confusion as I remembered one of the wolves. He has a cut on his side which made me remember.

I sprinted to the hybrid and blocked the incoming attack of the werewolf.

//Flashback//

"What the!" The werewolf said.

"Surprised?" I said and smirked.

I pushed him harshly that he landed on the ground. I threw my Caratha in the air while I jumped towards it. I lower kicked my Caratha to his direction, he dodged my attack but barely because he got a cut on his sides and his shirt ripped.

It was so familiar to me.

My eyes widened with realization, "h-how?" I stuttered.

Gahyeon looked at me confused as ever, "Why? What's wrong?" She asked.

"I thought I trapped those wolves in the dungeon dimension long ago." I said.

"You've encountered them before?" The officer asked, I nodded.

"They were the main cause of the destruction of an abandoned park a few months ago." I said.

Something was bothering me, but I guess it's bothering Gahyeon as well. "You said you trapped them in the dungeon dimension and we all know that no one can get out of there..." She suddenly stopped and think for a while.

"Don't you think that—" I cut her off, "they escaped because of the council or him." I gritted my teeth as I mention him.

"But why?" I thought.

After I take Gahyeon home, I immediately went to my apartment.

It's been a while since I went back here because I'm told to stay at Seventeen's home.

I locked the doors and the windows, I also put up a protection barrier. The reason for that is I'll be attempting to go back to the Rose realm to get some answers from mom.

I locked myself inside my room and hoped that it'll work. I placed my hand above my quartz necklace as I whispered, "I want to go back to the Rose realm"

I saw a bright pink light shine and then it turned into darkness and I immediately loss consciousness.

I opened my eyes as I gasped for air, it was my first time traveling to the Rose realm without being called by mom or losing my consciousness because of lack of energy.

I blinked a few times and saw a different view, "this isn't the Rose realm." I mumbled.

I saw old buildings on fire and some are wrecked, "did a war happened here?" I thought, as I roam around the area I sensed that someone is following me.

I turned around and saw a man, he smiled at me. "Yes, a war indeed occurred here." I looked at his outfit and it's rather kingly.

I keep staring at him, he chuckled. "You look exactly like my wife, but younger." He said.
