I carried the unconscious Gahyeon bridal style. I sighed as I teleported ourselves to my apartment. I placed her in one of the vacant bedrooms I had.

I just looked at her for a moment and saw a lot of changes in her appearance. She grew up well.

I sighed again as I put my hand above her body, I chanted

"May the light that shines deep inside, flow ever out, and never hide. May the shining light within my soul, heal you now, and make you whole."

As I was chanting those words a bright yellow magic circle appeared in between my hand and her body.

She gained consciousness after that. She opened her eyes slowly and adjusted her vision. Her eyes landed on me and she smiled brightly, as for me I felt guilt.

"I shouldn't have used a spell towards you." I said with guilt visible in my tone.

"What are you talking about? I never had that much fun in 4 years!!" Gahyeon exclaimed. As I looked at her shocked.

"What?! You could've died with that single blow! I shouldn't have done that. You're human, I know humans can't take that attack." I said

"But you still did use it on me." She smiled cheekily. She's trying to get on my nerves. Before everything turns into a fight again I asked her.

"You're still in RQSO?" She nodded and looked away.

"You know, we need you there. You're one of the best attack mage there is. Why'd you left?" She asked. Before I could say the reason her phone rang. After the call she looked at me.

"RQSO is calling for me, I need to go now. It was nice meeting you again. Old friend." She said the last part jokingly. Before she could teleport I grabbed her arm.

"Don't tell them I'm back." I said, she nodded and I let her go.

Gahyeon's POV

I teleported to RQSO headquarters, I was called because the prime ministers wanted to discuss something. I sat next to my trainer, she noticed the scar I had from the fight with Elanne.

"Who did you fight again?" She asked.

"Oh, just some perverts in an alley." I said nonchalantly. She nodded and took my lie. Our attention was soon taken when I deep voice was heard.

"I called you all here today to discuss some serious matters. We loss our connection and control with all the rebellious demons in Korea. They are all roaming freely as we speak. I need to assign all of you to a group to protect them from these demons, because this is what you are trained for. To bring peace to Humans and demons." He said.

All of us got our Group to protect. I will be protecting a group called Dreamcatcher. All the groups has someone to protect them except one, Seventeen.

"Excuse me. Prime minister, what about seventeen? Who'll look after them?" I asked. The prime minister took a while to answer.

"Because Seventeen is group full of Demons, they don't need someone to protect them." The Prime Minister said.

"How about someone to observe them? They are demons after all, and we wouldn't know what they might do." My trainer said.

"Then who can be their Observer? All of you have a group to protect. And this observer must be the best to withstand 1 Hybrid, 6 Vampires and 6 wolves." The Prime Minister said.

A moment of silence filled the room. The prime minister was thinking of who can be the Observer for Seventeen, then he remembered someone.

"Choi Elanne." The prime minister said loud and clear for all of us to hear and all of our eyes widened with his decision.

SEVENTEEN's POV

We are walking out of the Meat restaurant that we always eat at. While we are talking and walking to our dorm the vocal team sensed something because the vocal team are all wolves.

"Hyung, we are being followed and there are a lot of them." Woozi mind linked Seungcheol, their leader.

"I sensed that too." He replied.

We all walked faster and we all ended up in a field surrounded by tall buildings. The place is deserted and a perfect place to transform to our forms.

"Guys, go to your forms. They're coming." Seungcheol commanded his members, and all of them nodded.

Woozi, Jeonghan, DK, Joshua, Seungkwan, and Vernon took their wolf forms while Hoshi, Jun, Minghao, Dino, Wonwoo, and Mingyu took their Vampire forms.

Seungcheol on the other hand turned to a wolf with red as blood eyes and sharp fangs because he is both Wolf and Vampire.

We were outnumbered. A lot of demons followed us.

Elanne's POV

I wore an oversized black hoodie, black tights, and black converse. I also wore my black mask and took Caratha Lance before heading out to the city. I could be mistaken as a robber with this outfit, but it's for the best to be not seen by people.

I was about to go out from this convenience store when I sensed a lot of demons walked passed this store. I quickly ran out to follow those demons.

To take view advantage I climbed to the rooftop of a building. I followed them as I jumped from roof to roofs. I stopped on the highest building and looked down. They're chasing 13 guys.

Those 13 guys stopped in the middle of the field and I watch them as they turn to their forms. I counted 6 Vampires, 6 wolves, and 1 Hybrid.

They were followed by a lot of demons. I sat on the edge of the rooftop to watch this battle go down while I sip the strawberry milk I bought at the convenience store earlier.

"This would be fun to watch."

I was about to go to sleep when I remembered that I won't be updating tomorrow because I'll be busy all day and night. 😩

That's why I updated. 😄
