Chapter 14

Elanne's POV

"and who is this Observer you speak of?"

I'm still looking down, afraid to face them. Prime minister nudges me and I walked forward.

"You don't have to do this L, I know you're having a hard time." Gahyeon sent me a mind link.

"It's alright. I'm fine." I replied as I raised my head making my face visible, I saw Joshua gasped and all of them confused. Their eyes widened when I opened my mouth and said.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Choi Elanne-imnida."

"Prime Minister, Are you sure Elanne will make a good observer for us?" Seungcheol asked. With that question it made me feel unwanted and hated like before.

"Yes, are there any problems?" He asked and Seventeen shakes their head.

"If there are no problems about this, you may now go. Take Elanne with you." He said but I immediately declined.

"There's no need. I'm going now." I said.

"You can't go, not without them by your side. You do know that they are responsible for your life and you for theirs." The Prime Minister said as I cursed under my breath.

"Us? Responsible for her life?" Vernon asked.

"Yes. If she ever leaves again, she dies. But if she saw that you're a threat to humans, you die." He said.

"That's messed up!" Seungcheol shouted.

I noticed that the Prime Minister getting angry and he sprinted towards Seungcheol, because of instinct I ran towards Seungcheol. Before he could land the attack onto Seungcheol, I blocked it with my lance. My Hazel-brown eyes instantly changed into an icy blue color.

Suengcheol's POV

"Why the heck did you said that!!" all the members screamed at me in mind link. I regretted saying it as I saw the Prime Minister angry, he sprinted his way to me. I closed my eyes as I wait for his furious attack but I felt nothing. I opened my eyes and saw her in front of me and blocking the Prime Minister's attack.

"Back off!!" she said with anger.

Elanne's POV

"Back off!!" I said with anger. He froze in his place looking Shocked and he looked at me specially my eyes.

I scoffed.

"Surprised?" I asked with a sly smile as I pushed him harshly and he fell to the ground, His men helped him up. My eyes returned to its natural color.

"All of you may leave, I need rest." The Prime Minister said.

We were all walking out the room when I stopped, I looked back at him and said.

"I would be careful if I were you..." "Because I know all about the prophecy." I said in my thoughts.

Prime Minister's POV

"Her eyes was blue, she's the one." I said as I explained everything that had happened to the council.

"She's the one who will bring peace back to this world." They said.

"Does that mean she'll be the next Ruler of the RQSO?" I asked.

"Yes, It is what the Prophecy says." One of them answered.

The Prophecy says when everything is out of control a girl will rise to bring back the Balance and Peace between Demons and Humans, because that girl is different. She's not a pure human nor a pure demon, she is both. Serenity will burn brightly within her eyes and Rose Quartz within her heart. She'll take her rightful place as the heir of RQSO, but she will have a hard time because of someone who is controlled by power. 13 Demons will be involved in her life, they will not have a good start but with time everything will turn out for the better.

"Is making her the observer of Seventeen a good idea?" I thought.

"When the time comes be ready to hand down your title to the chosen one." The Council said.

"Yes, of course." I said as I bow my head as a sign of respect. As I walk out of the Council Hall I thought of something.

"She can't have my place as long as I'm alive." I said in my thoughts.

Elanne's POV

Awkward Silence filled the room. We are currently in Seventeen's practice room and this silence is driving me crazy. Gahyeon noticed my state.

"L-ssi? Are you alright?" she asked me using mind link.

"What if I say no, I'm not alright. I can't take this anymore! It's driving me crazy!!" I shouted in our mind link.

I was having a mental breakdown as I looked down and saw my reflection on my Caratha, my eyes are turning blue again. I balled my hands into a tight fist to prevent using the powers that I didn't even know I have. But unfortunately I've unleashed it. The power of Frost.

"Why does it feel so cold all of a sudden?" Gahyeon who is next to me said all of a sudden.

"Elanne, are you alright?" She asked as she noticed that I'm shaking.

"Are you cold?" Seungcheol asked but I didn't answered. He was about to touch me but I backed away but Hoshi was behind me. He touched my arms and it was freezing cold.

"Elanne, you're cold as Ice." He said a little bit shocked by my temperature but I just kept my head down.

"I'm fine, I just need a little bit of fresh air." I said almost inaudible. As I was walking to the door a hand grabbed my arm and turned me around, and they saw my eyes.

Hoshi's POV

When I touched her she was Ice cold. Humans are usually warm, but why is she cold as Ice?

"Elanne, you're cold as Ice." I said.

"I'm fine, I just need a little bit of fresh air." She said almost inaudible. As she was walking to the door I grabbed her arm and turned her around. There I saw her pained expression with her Icy Blue eyes. I was the only one who saw her eyes.

"You're not human are you?" I asked her in Mind link.

"Soonyoung... I'm sorry.." She replied and after that I forgot everything that had happen from me seeing her eyes blue.

I was just so busy that I couldn't update... I'm totally not procrastinating on work by binge watching K Dramas and Slime Videos. :3

Also, School is starting in a few days for me so I can't guarantee an update everyday.

Nah, I'm just exaggerating things... But I do need that diploma tho.

Imma be a future CPA so... Gotta study hard. T^T
