FYI guys I use Blue as in the female Blue, A.K.A Green in English. Green in my story is Blue Oak, who's Japanese name is Green. Confusing? Just consider them swapped.

"What is in that sketchbook?" Blue thought, as she spied Yellow deftly moving her pencil in curved lines across the page, making a light scratching sound. Yellow paid close attention to the drawing, curled up into a ball as she worked, turning the book, switching pencils according to grades of darkness.
"I NEED to find out!" Blue thought, running away and thinking of a way to get it off the healer without her noticing.
Problem was, it literally lived in her arms.
Today
Blue ran down Route 2, beads of sweat running down her face as she took a right into Viridian Forest. The atmosphere inside it was peaceful and chirpy, and lots of sun flowed to the ground - a friendly forest, not an oppressive one. Now, she needed to find Yellow....
"Blue? Is that you?" A small voice drifted out of the forest somewhere off to her right.
"Yeah, it's me! No need to be afraid, Yellow!"
Blue walked over and found Yellow sitting on a log, quickly stowing away her sketchbook.
"That sketchbook!" Blue thought, glad that Yellow had brought it.
"So.... what brings you here, Blue?" asked Yellow, and Blue was prepared.
Never underestimate the Blue, o mighty Blue.
Ok, I'll stop.
Really.
"Well, you see, Jiggly's been having some issues lately, as in she doesn't eat, but she seems to be saying she's hungry" replied Blue, nudging the Jigglypuff to tell her it was an act.
Jigglypuff rolled over and gave a plantative whine (can pokemon whine?) and Blue smirked. She could see concern in Yellow's eyes.
"What do you want me to do, Blue?" asked Yellow, a hand already hovering over Jiggly's forehead.
"There's no need to heal her, I can do that. Just can you pleeeaase tell me what's wrong?" Blue asked, and gently pushed Jiggly towards Yellow.
"Ok...." Yellow put her hand on Jiggly's head, and there was a slight glow (tell me if that doesn't happen) as Yellow saw what Jiggly was thinking.
Which was, in essence, random thoughts related to berries, as many as possible so she could wear Yellow out.
"Yellow?" asked Blue, wondering what had happened.
Yellow stayed still for a moment, then her head jerked up, and she said "Most likely a bad berry... is it usual for Jiggly to think of berries 24/7?"
"She's a hungry little critter." said Blue, petting Jiggly on the head (partially as a "good job" sign).
Yellow yawned slightly and tried to get her mind focused, but it was rapidly blurring with tiredness. Strange..... usually it wasn't this tiring. Was this... Blue's plans?
"Yellow?" Blue asked, noticing how still the girl was, and how she was drooping.
"I-I.... wake me up later.... that Jigglypuff..." and with that Yellow curled up at Blue's feet, asleep.
"Wow, I even had a backup plan." thought Blue, wondering how on earth Jigglypuff managed to do all that.
She ruffled Jiggly's curl, then returned her. Quickly looking around to see whether anyone was watching, she started gently patting Yellow's vest's pockets (does it even have any XD), trying to find the dratted sketchbook.
"Ahh... there it is..." Blue pulled it out of a large but rather cleverly stitched pocket that Yellow had stitched on, concealing the sketchbook.
Yellow turned a bit, and Blue jumped about 5 feet into the air, but she was simply muttering about Blue's plans....
She knows....
Blue panicked and quickly scanned the sketchbook.
The first bunch of pages were as expected from a Healer and Protector of Viridian Forest. Bunched of forest pokemon, with Yellow holding them, or maybe another person, beautiful greylead (or plain pencil) sketches of nature's most wondrous scenes.
Then they started to change, to her own Pokemon, her friends, her doing things like fishing, and her friends battling. Ratty evolving, a Dratini (what was that about?) and some doodles of her friends.
Blue kept flipping, but the sketchbook's right (or left if you're Japanese) bunch of pages were wearing down, and the book started to come to an end.
She couldn't want to just hide these, right?
Then Blue came upon a page with a boy with spiky hair and a snapback cap. His eyes - only his eyes - were coloured red, the first bit of colour in the entire book. The name "Red" was written below it.
Blue grinned, knowing she had finally hit upon the part she wanted to see.
She flipped through these quickly as well, and they were mainly Red in different scenes - fighting, doing day-to-day things, epic battle poses. Blue's grin only grew even wider (it could even be a smirk) as she found a picture of Red, hearts drawn in the same grey colour. The best was one of them holding hands, and "Maybe..." written down the bottom.
There was even a cute little drawing of Red saving Yellow from (another) Dratini.
Blue always knew that the small girl had a crush on Red. Heck, she wasn't subtle. But she never would've thought that she'd actually put this much effort into drawing him. The drawings with Red were immaculate, drawn with careful attention. Blue was almost shocked that she missed out such a key clue about the girl's crush for so long.
Close to the end of the used pages, there was one where Yellow had been rubbed out and Soul drawn in her place. There were broken hearts littered all over the place, and it was written "He talks to her more....".
Blue felt momentarily guilty for entering Yellow's private drawing space. Just for a bit. She must've been having a bad day when she drew that.
Blue quickly snapped the book shut, slid it back into the pocket, and made sure Yellow was asleep. She quickly wrote a note "Sorry, had to run, ChuChu was guarding you" and made ChuChu stand in front of Yellow. Then she ran like the wind, hopefully leaving no evidence.

1 hour later

Yellow woke up to ChuChu's scratching.
"Ow, ow... ChuChu!" she said, slightly annoyed.
Then all that happened flooded into her head, and she gasped.
Lightly shoving ChuChu aside, she checked her pocket for her sketchbook.
It was in the WRONG POCKET.
Oh Arceus.
Oh Arceus no.
She saw a shred of black fabric, most likely from Blue's wrist band
SHE LEGIT HAS ONE LOOK ON HER WRIST
The yellow haired girl's face went as red as a blaze as she lay down, completely lost in how to stop Blue, who was most likely telling Red by now.
"What do I do?" she thought, wondering how this would turn out.
