Yesterday was everything but a blur.

Yes, because approximately twenty four hours ago, Bonnie had barged into the Salvatore Boarding House while Stefan and Elena were talking about some 'serious' matter and then she had called the entire Scooby gang to come there and as we shall obey the queen, we had.
As we were all seated on the couch -and Damon by the pool table where he could easily access bourbon- she had told us what had happened.

Apparently, Alaric Saltzman, our lovely history teacher had taken a white oak stake, the only weapon capable of killing an original as far as we knew, from the underground cave in which had laid Esther's coffin. What we apparently didn't know was that Esther was Rebekah and Rebekah was Esther, even though I hadn't understood that part very well.

After she had done the explaining and Matt, Elena and Caroline had shown their surprised and dumbfounded expressions, and Damon had said that he didn't understand the matter since he hated the originals, Bonnie had done a good job at explaining to him that if Klaus died, so did he. Again, I didn't think I would have gotten out of my way to save Damon, but if Klaus did die, so did Tyler, Caroline and Stefan.

So Bonnie had quickly come up with a plan, helped by Abby -to whom she barely talked anymore- and they had found a spell. I had never heard of that spell -since I couldn't do magic anyway- but it was apparently a very powerful one. It worked as a locator spell and was to not only locate Ric, but to bring people right to him, this way, we would be able to locate both him and the stake, and with a bit of luck, Esther.

After a while of explaining and of catching her breath since my cousin spoke so much, she had explained she was not powerful enough to do the spell in its entirety. She had then looked hopefully at me but I had muttered a quick 'hell no'' and she had known there was no room for discussion. She had sighed, but explained that if she channeled power from another witch and all the dead witches from the witch burial ground house, she would eventually be able to send a few people with her spell.

We did not know how many she could bring -or if she could even hold the spell for that matter- so we had settled for the obvious choice, the immortal and hot Salvatore brothers, Stefan and Damon.
If the first one was more than willing to help, the latter had seemed more reluctant and standoffish, but after we had explained it was for Alaric, he had complied.

So, today, both Caroline and I were walking toward the Witch Burial Ground, determined to find a way out of the mess we were in. As a witch to channel, Bonnie had chosen me, and Caroline was coming because, and I quote 'Stefan is my best friend, he goes, I go'.
We had obviously explained she couldn't come to Ric's hiding place or whatever, but she had still wanted to come at least for their departure. Of course, Elena had wanted to chime in but Matt had convinced her he would need help to keep the originals away from our little show and even if we all knew that the mere presence of Matt would have easily kept Rebekah occupied, we were glad for the distraction it brought to Elena- taking her thoughts away from the conflict Damon-Stefan that was going on in her head.
