α ∂єα∂ αмσиg тнє ℓινιиg ¢ℓαιяє: I slowly opened my eyes, then closed them again.
The sun was shining on my face and I was in a bed I didn't recognize.
I turned my body on the other side so that the sun was not warming up my face anymore.
I groaned in annoyance, oh god didn't want to wake up... Not today, not ever.
I moved a little, ready to go back to sleep when I suddenly opened my eyes wide in shock. Crap! The events of yesterday evening game crashing back to me.
"Well, the music in the future seems... interesting." Kol said, smirking widely while resting his elbows on the table and looking at Caroline's phone in her hands.
I rolled my eyes at him then looked down at my almost done food. "One of the many." I said sarcastically, with a mocking smirk on my lips.
Kol chuckled a bit while Caroline glared at me. Seriously though, that song was the worst thing after Taylor Swift's.
Elijah kept his glance on Caroline's phone as he spoke up, wanting to show us a bit of kindness since neither Kol or Klaus were helping at all. "Miss Caroline, Miss Claire, you look exhausted. Why don't you go rest a little?"
"Wait, you mean we are staying here tonight?" Elijah turned his glance towards my bewildered eyes.
In all my dreams I could not even do as little as to think about living in a mansion as huge as this one... and now I got to spend a night in it? Yes, please!
"Of course you are staying here. Now that we believe you are clearly not in your own timeline, we cannot let you out in a world you don't know." Elijah said, looking in my eyes, intertwining his fingers and putting his elbows on the table as he kept an expressionless face.
"You will be staying with us until we find a way to send you back in your own timeline."
I looked at Elijah suspiciously, even though he was the only original I could trust -except Rebekah when she wasn't trying to kill Elena- and asked a question that's been bugging me ever since we've started this dinner. "Why are you helping us?"
He looked at me with the same expressionless and emotionless face. "We cannot leave you out there on your own. You could jeopardize the future. Your future. And ours as well. And your manners are not polite enough to blend in this century."
