Johnny dose she ever eat !?" Dally almost screamed looking at her. I just shook my head sadly . " she never says she's hungry." I gulped . " she has a concussion , but probably blacked out because she haven't had any thing to eat ." Darry said plainly .

I gotta make her eat something . Then she stared to move on the couch and her eyes fluttered open .

VIOLETS POV

I was laying on the couch

As Darry was looking at my head . " hey Vi you okay ?" He asked , I saw Johnny sitting next to him.

I nodded yes " just a bit dizzy " I said softly as I tried to sit up . Johnny helped me , he sat on the couch next to me and pulled me in for a hug . " You had me scared to death when you blacked out back there. " I just smiled at him . I felt protected whenever he held me like that . Then I realized the whole gang was there . " So what happened , h-" two- bit started but Johnny's glare stopped him . I just dug my face into my brothers chest . I hate my parents , the one thing that made us different . Was that he wanted love from our parents , I wanted then 6 feet underground .

It was silent for a few min. Then Soda came in as his happy go lucky self . " hey who's hungry for some PB and J sandwiches, it's already 12:15 "

Then everyone but me and Johnny ran into the kitchen for sandwiches and chocolate cake . " Then I tried to stand and Johnny brought me back down ." You need to rest , the meets in an hour " I simply nodded . " you want anything ?" He asked sweetly . I shook my head no . I wasn't ever hunger." Okay now Vi listen, you never eat anything , and you weigh what 45 pounds .?!" Soda said . " will you at least eat a half off one ?" Darry asked . The whole gang stopped and started at me . " I'll have a few bites if it will make you all happy " I let my hair fall in my face . Some of them smiled while some sighed . Johnny gave me a stern look before going off to the kitchen . I just diddent see the point in eating . It kept me to where I was beaten every other day of my life . There was only one thing I looked forward too . And that started in 45 min . Then I was released from my train of thought . " Here Violet , and you better eat all of it ." He said hanging me a plate with half off a sandwich . I stared at it for a second before grabbing it . " So You guys all wanna go see a movie tonight ?" Two asked . " Kathy's gone for the weekend so I don't got plans . " he opened a beer.

" Sure " Dally shrugged . " I got nothing else better to do " Pony said . " what about Johnnycakes and Vi Vi coming?" Two- bit asked . I nodded at Johnny ." Why not" he replied for both of us . I looked back at my sandwich , I didn't want it. " Violet , you better eat " Darry said to me sternly .

Then in the next 5 min I had eaten half my sandwich . Just to make the gang happy. " Johnny do I have to go today?" I whispered in his ear . " you ask me that ever day and what's my answer ." He gave me a duh look and I blew the hair out off my face . " we'll be back later "

Johnny stood up and was about to head to the door . " ya sure you wanna go out there,man?" Dal said .Me and Johnny looked at each other confused . " why not ?" I looked out the window , it was just a really quiet day ...

" you didn't hear ?!" Pony exclaimed .we shook our heads no." It's been on the news all morning " Soda said turning the TV on .

( sorry they are all so short but this inset my main story , but I will never abandon this story . go read  Too many secrets not enough time , that's my main story )
