There was a red mustang pulling up beside us ." Well , well, well how ya doing Cade's ?" He asked way to nicely . There were 3 more off them Socs in the back seat . We kept walking and he slowly rolled with us . " so ya heard what happened to that nine year old ?" One off the other guys asked ." So one of your greaser selfs gonna fess up soon ?"
" What makes you so sure it was a greaser " Johnny said barely above a whisper . But still loud enough for them to hear ." Well what makes you think it was a Soc ? Huh ?" He said again a little more angry and loud ." You brought it up first " I mumbled and gave them a glare ." Ohh looks like little Cade here's getting sassy ." They all joked and my hands became fists .
" look what do you want Randy ?!" Johnny almost yelled . I jumped and stopped walking . Ohh so that's Randy Johnny was telling me this one kid at his school who was always a real !.....ya know what never mind . " glad you asked Johnny " he gave an evil smirk . " I want a rumble about this whole thing . Next weekend in our territory -"
" No way Randy , look if you wanna rumble take it up with someone else man, and we ain't never having a rumble in your territory , or someone will complain and -" Johnny was cut off . " and what you scared there gonna call the cops ?! , ya got something to hide greaser , maybe like Jessie Clarkton ." He smirked and drove off . " jeez if people don't stop blaming greasers for everything I swear I'm gonna lose it . "
I looked up at him . He was serious , he had talked about killing himself before , and I've had to stop him from doing it a couple times before. Well me and Ponyboy .
When we got to the meet ,( Johnny went into his hiding spot as usual to watch me ) I was late so I had to change really fast. I loved what I did. I just don't feel like Greaser girls should be doing this . Oh yeah did I mention what I even am about to do ?! Well my talent is- " everyone start your stretching , cade your going to be a flyer today so come and stretch out over here" that's my instructor, Miss. Taylor. She's middle class and actually really nice to me I'm her best student ." hurry up Violet" she bellowed again . hold on ill tell you in a second.
