Chapter 2: Never Let You Go

Jimin went through most of his classes without any problem.
It also helped that his new found friend Taehyung was in all of them.

Jimin was anxious because he kept getting strange looks from everyone around.

It was finally lunchtime and Jimin and Taehyung were going into the cafeteria when someone roughly shoved Jimin to the ground.

"No one wants you here you filthy human scum, I hope you kill yourself before we have to see your disgusting face again!" screamed an unfamiliar person to Jimin.

Taehyungs eyes turned bright gold and Jimin crawled back in fear.

Just then black shoes obstructed Jimin's view and he heard a voice that was so dominant and scary it sent chills down his spine.

"If you ever touch him again or even speak to him I swear that you will no longer have the will to live nor be allowed to, and if I ever see you doing anything along the same lines I will rip you limb from limb." the voice sounded so angry it was almost inhuman.

When the person finally turned around Jimin was shocked.

It was Jungkook.

He looked scary his eyes were a crimson red.
Out of fear Jimin backed up against the wall.
Jungkook's face softened and he looked...sad?
The man who had harassed Jimin ran away quickly.

Jungkook took a step toward Jimin.
He could see it in his eyes Jimin was scared, of him.
It hurt, even if he couldn't feel pain, seeing that he was afraid of him, hurt.

Jungkook turned back to see Taehyung, Jungkook had always hated him, constantly smelling like a wet dog.

Jungkook wrinkled his nose and stalked away.

The crowd of people that had formed around him had subsided as soon as Jungkook left.

Jimin breathed out a sigh of relief and he felt a tear slip out of the corner of his eye.
Never in his whole life had he ever been afraid of Jungkook.
He knew that he was a vampire but somehow seeing him threaten another person so openly really scared him.

Taehyung knelt down next to JImin.

"Taehyung y-your e-eyes." Jimin stuttered out.
"I know. I know." said Taehyung quietly shushing him and helping him to his feet.

Taehyung could smell a sweet smell coming off Jimin, he recognized it, it was blood, Taehyung knew it was way too dangerous here for Jimin, when there were blood thirsty monsters around every corner, including himself.

He took Jimin's hand and led him to the almost never used infirmary.

A man sitting in a chair swiveled around "Ah Taehyung what brings you here-"
"You brought a friend...a human one."

"Dr. Park can you please help Jimin he got a cut and it's driving everyone up the walls."
"I thought I told you to call me Hyungsik, we are practically the same age." said the man narrowing his eyes.

"And sure please come here.. er Jimin was it?"
Jimin nodded his head.
He sat on the chair while he disinfected the cut on his arm.
He put a bandage over it.

"Ok all good now!" Hyungsik gave a thumbs up.
"Thanks." said Jimin with a small smile.

Taehyung had just met this boy and yet he felt significantly drawn to him.
As they left the infirmary a familiar face passed by.
It was Jungkook, his eyes ad faded to a dull maroon.
Jimin was going to go to him but Taehyung held a firm grip around him.

Jungkook started to walk past but instead ended up grabbing Jimin's hands tightly and dragging him away super fast.

Jungkook had a iron grip on Jimin as he struggled to get out of it.
Jungkook dragged him to the parking lot and practically threw him into the car.
"What about school I-" Jimin started to say.
"Doesn't matter. Buckle up." Jungkook said firmly and Jimin obeyed silently.
When they got to the house jungkook once again dragged him in.
The other four vampires looked at the pair with startled expressions.

"This was the worst idea you guys have ever had, Jimin can not go to school he's too weak and it's way too dangerous." said Jungkook.

"What happened?" asked Hoseok sitting up off the couch quickly.
Before anyone said anything Jimin wrenched his hand out of Jungkook's grasp and stomped upstairs.

"Ugh, he's being so childish." said Jungkook rubbing his neck.

"Kookie you have to be gentle, Jimin is a very sensitive person, and hes human so his emotions are different then ours." said Jin calmly putting a hand on Jungkook's shoulder.

"Exactly so he shouldn't be in school." said Jungkook.

"What exactly happened?" said Namjoon finally piping up.

"Jimin was bullied and thrown to the ground and he got hurt." said Jungkook.

"Aw poor babe I will go check on him." said Jin heading toward Jimin's room.

"And even worse-" Jungkook said.
They all held their breath expecting something awful.
"-he made a friend." Jungkook finished.

They all breathed out.
"What the hell why is that a problem?" asked Yoongi.

"Not just any friend... Kim Taehyung."

"But he's-" started Hoseok.

"Yes we all know." Namjoon finished.
"Maybe Kookie's right, maybe school isn't right for Jiminie." said Hoseok.
"Or he's just jealous." Yoongi said with a half smirk.
Jungkook narrowed his eyes in annoyance.

Then Jin came downstairs holding Jimin by the hand gently.

"Why don't we just let Jimin decide?" questioned Jin.

Everyone nodded in agreement except for Jungkook.

"Ok Jimin will continue with school, Jungkook just keep an eye out for him ok?" stated Namjoon.

Jungkook went to his room practically seething.
Earlier he was so angry with that guy and to top it off Jimin was bleeding.
And It smelled..
...delicious.

He was brought out of his daze as the door opened it wasn't like he slept anyways.

It was dark but he had superior sight and senses.

Jungkook was so relieved that Jimin wasn't scared of him anymore.
Jimin came over and crawled in the bed snuggling into Jungkook's chest.

It was a habit of Jimin's ever since he was little anytime he was overwhelmed with some kind of emotion he could come and crawl in bed with Jungkook.

As Jimin grew up, it was harder for Jungkook to have self control.
As Jimin snuggled closer Jungkook could feel everything.
His pulse.
The beat of his heart.
The small in and out of his breathing.
His warmth.
The tickle of his hair.
Jimin.

Jungkook was obsessed with it all.
He didn't know if he would be ok with not always having all of Jimin to himself.

He only knew one thing for sure.

He would never let him go.
