Chapter 5: Calm Before the Storm

Jimin found himself staring into the face of the giant wolf.
They stared at each other unmoving for about 10 seconds.

The wolf didn't move and Jimin found himself reaching out for it.
Daring to touch its soft looking fur.

His heart was pounding so loud he thought the entire world could hear him.
His fingertips were just centimeters away from touching the wolf when suddenly he was pushed back and the wolf was thrown against the wall.

Jimin closed his eyes when he heard the obvious crunch and whimper of the world colliding with the wall.

He opened his eyes to see jungkook.
Fangs bared and eyes red.

JImin pulled himself up trying to get inbetween the wolf and Jungkook.

"It won't hurt me Jungkook!!" Jimin screamed.

Jimin wasn't exactly sure why he was so drawn to the wolf but all he knew was that he would do whatever it took to keep it safe.

Jimin looked over at the wolf, it was badly hurt, it had two big bleeding gashes across its face.
Jungkook tried to push Jimin out of the way so Jimin did the one thing he knew how to do, he knew he was to weak to stop jungkook.

But he knew Jungkook would stop for him if it was like this.
In the alleyway there was lots of trash and broken things.

Jimin quickly grabbed a broken glass bottle and cut his wrist.

"Go!!!!" Jimin yelled at the wolf eyes pleading him to leave.

The pain was bearable since he was already in a semi-drunken haze and his adrenaline was running right over it.

Jungkook's attention was taken off the wolf as he smelled Jimin's blood.

The wolf quickly looked back at Jimin eyes thanking him, it almost looked as if it would go back for Jimin but JImin looked back at it, eyes pushing him to go.

The wolf limped off into the night.

Now Jimin had an even bigger problem.

Jungkook stepped foreward.

"J-Jungkook, it's o-okay you just need to go h-home." Jimin said voice wavering.

Jungkook's eyes were that bright red that always scared Jimin.

The color of blood.

Jungkook lunged and grabbed Jimin's wrists pinning him to the ground.

"Y-You're hurting me!!" Jimin said thrashing around.

Suddenly Jungkook's weight was lifted off of him.

Jimin could see Yoongi's outline fighting with Jungkook.

Hosoeks arms wrapped around Jimin.
"It's ok, you're safe, i'm here." Hoseok said comforting Jimin in his arms.

JImin just sobbed into his chest.

To hide the smell of blood Hoseok took his jacket off and wrapped it around Jimin's wrist.

"Let's get you to Jin before you pass out from blood loss ok?" Hoseok asked gently.

Jimin just nodded still shaking with fear.

He looked back at Jungkook who looked finally calmer.

He was crying.

Jungkook was crying, the strongest person Jimin had ever known was crying.

Jimin broke him.

It was his fault.
