Chapter 17: Forgive and Forget

Jungkook looked at Jimin who had collapsed on the ground.
He suspected the demons were still around so they needed to get out of here and find something safe.

He suddenly remembered that during his days at the castle they had made a peace treaty with a werewolf village nearby.

Surely they could seek shelter there.

Jungkook threw Jimin over his shoulder and walked slowly in the direction he remembered.
Night was falling quickly so he decided to stop and make camp.

Because he was dead, he couldn't feel the cold but he remembered that Jimin's body could.

He crawled over to where he had set Jimin's body down and surely enough he was shivering.

Jungkook sighed.

He gathered wood to make a fire.

He took off his shirt since it was useless to him and threw it over Jimin's body.

He felt Jimin's temperature with his hand, Jimin's body was extremely warm.

Jungkook frowned, why was Jimin shivering when he was s warm?

He suddenly remembered what the shady warlock Jae-Hwan had told him so long ago, that Jimin had four months, four months to decide if he would become a werewolf or a vampire... or die.

Jungkook looked at Jimin with his heart aching, Jimin would never be allowed to be human, he would die.

Jungkook didn't want to force Jimin into being a vampire but he also couldn't handle giving him to a werewolf, but if that's what Jimin chose Jungkook would respect his choice because that's what you do when you love someone.

Jungkook ran a hand through his hair and looked at the stars, he was unsure of what to do now, they could go home and everything would be back to normal..right?

But they would never escape this never ending nightmare would they?

He could hear Jimin shift and turn with his excellent hearing which caused him to move closer to Jimin.

Jungkook smiled looking at Jimin's sleep face, it was still as cute as it had always been his mouth would hang open a little and he would curl into the fetal position.

Jimin mumbled incoherently but Jungkook caught a bit of what he was saying

"Kook..." Jimin mumbled.

Jungkook brushed Jimin's face with his hand trying so hard not to look at Jimin's adorable face for too long or it would make him crave something even less innocent than his blood.

Jungkook forgot had much he had missed having this level of intimacy with Jimin.
Jungkook just snuggled closer to Jimin enveloping his with his wide chest and 'muscle pig' arms as Jimin called them.
Jungkook just let himself be at peace and drifted off to sleep.

A couple hours later Jungkook woke up with a s tart standing up.
He had heard a rustle on his right side so he quickly called out.

"Show yourself!"

A figure in a black cloak moved toward them and Jungkook stood in front of Jimin's still soundly sleeping figure.

"Remove your cloak!" Jungkook ordered.

The figure complied and held his hands in the air as Jungkook watched carefully at the figure stepped closer.

It was a person, one who had a certain similarity to the annoying wolf boy that hung around Jimin all the time.

"What is your name?"
