Forever Young [Jikook]

Picking up the Pieces

Jimin put his head in his hands.

Taehyung was making tea in the kitchen and Jimin could hear the small clang of the kettle and whatever else he was moving around. He turned slightly as he heard the front door open and shut. Hiyeon was home.

Hiyeon was a short bubbly woman, she had long brown hair a black thick rimmed glasses in some ways she reminded Jimin of himself and so the two got along very well.

"Oh Jimnie you're here!" Hiyeon exclaimed giving Jimin a big bear hug.

"I missed you, you never come to visit anymore, must be hard with the kids and Jungkook these days huh?" She asked looking Jimin over noticing the how his eyes were watery, brimming with tears and the tremble of his lips.

"Did...something happen?" she asked.

JImin only nodded.

Hiyeon sat down in the big couch in the living room patting the space next to her.

Jimin explained wiping a stray tear that had been running down his face.

"I see... i'm sorry babe, it's really tough right? Tae and I had a few moments like that while I was pregnant with Hyunsik it's sometimes hard to connect fully with body and mind all the time, but we patched it up somehow."

"I know.. I'm just wondering if maybe Jungkook's right, maybe i'm not being a good father and partner these days." Jimin said with a slight shake of his head.

"I'm sure it's nothing that can't be fixed." hiyeon said with a bright smile.

"You know what...after you and Jungkookie got together and we met for the first time Tae told me something Jungkook said to him."

"Jungkook told him: He is my hopes, dreams and happiness and no matter how far we drift apart, how angry we get or how much we fight, I will always love Jimin."

"Jimin to that man you are his whole world, nothing will ever change that okay....sometimes you just gotta remind him that he's your whole world too." Hiyeon finished with a cute eye smile.

"Yeah, you're totally right." Jimin said.

"Tae said it would be okay if I left the kids with you for a while is that okay with you as well?' Jimin asked.

"Of course JImin, you and Jungkook are family and so are your kids, they are always welcome here and so are you." Hiyeon said.

Tae came out of the kitchen with three cups of tea.

"Actually i'm going to pass Tae Tae I need to fix things quick."

Taehyung nodded and smiled looking at Hiyeon, that woman was magical she could turn any situation positive with a few words.

Jimin shut the door quickly running out to his car.

Taehyung bent down and kissed Hiyeon's forehead "Thank you for being so wonderful." he smiled.

Jimin was practically speeding.

He wanted to see Jungkook so bad, to feel him, to touch him.

He finally arrived in front of their house barely making it out of the car without tripping. Jimin ran up the steps to their door, fumbling with his keys he finally found the right one,quickly unlocking the door.

"Jungkook!" Jimin shouted and yet he heard no answer.
Something felt off.

Jimin ran upstairs to their bedroom. The door was open slightly so he looked in, there was nothing.

"Jungkook where are you, your car is still outside-"

Jimn was cut off as he was slammed to the floor hard.

"J-Jungkook-" He gasped as his throat was being crushed and he was being pinned down.

Jungkook was holding him down his eyes practically bleeding red, before Jimin could say a word jungkook ben down to his neck and licked it sending a chill up Jimin's spine, after being turned biting your mate was an intimate thing.

This was different, Jimin was scared because this...this wasn't Jungkook.

Jungkook bit into the place he licked, harshly with no mercy, Jimin could not speak because his throat was being crushed his eyes were only searching Jungkook's face for a flicker of his usual self, his eyes were blank, only filled with red, the color of blood..

Jungkook let his hand up around his throat a little but not on his arms, as much as Jimin struggled he couldn't break free.

"-kook why are y-you do-doing t-this!?" JImin struggled out as he spoke Jungkook only bit harder causing Jimin to yelp in pain.

"It hurts!!" He screamed to no avail, Jungkook didn't stop.

Jimin felt his eyes grow heavy as his lifeforce was steadily drained.. And then it all went black.
