Chapter 21: The Best Day

Jungkook was getting ready to rip his own hair out, between Jimin's constant complaining that unfortunately came as a package deal with being pregnant and Taehyung's annoying perkiness.

Taehyung wouldn't stop talking Jimin's ear off about baby names and gender and what color the baby shower would be themed and the difference between light blue and sky blue.. was there even a difference? Jungkook didn't know, nor did he care, he just wanted to snuggle with his boyfriend without Taehyung butting in.

Jungkook looked at their calendar and schedule, technically Jimin and Jungkook were supposed to go to an ultrasound a long, long time ago but Jimin refused saying he was fine, which Jungkook didn't understand, but they had an ultrasound scheduled tomorrow at Jaehwan's clinic that Taehyung would conveniently be tagging along to.

Before the ultrasound would be the perfect time for Jungkook to get what he was looking for. He figured now would be a perfect time. Jungkook woke up early the next day and went to get what he wanted, he found just what he was looking for, it was perfect.

He came home to wake Jimin up and take him to the ultrasound he tried to get them to leave fast hoping Jimin would forget Taehyung.. he didn't.

They finally all got in the car and drove to JaeHwan's clinic.

"Are you gonna ask him what gender?" Taehyung asked animatedly.

"Well Kookie and I have decided we want the gender to be a surprise, but I do want to make sure the baby is healthy, it worried me a lot because I have been feeling a bunch of movement and kicking lately as if a whole army is inside my belly, I guess this little ones a mover." said Jimin rubbing his stomach fondly making Jungkook look to the passenger seat watching Jimin intently every now and then taking his eyes off to focus on driving.

When they arrived Jaehwan greeted them kindly ushering them into the room. He had Jimin lay down.

"This is going to be a little cold okay?" Jaehwan said lathering the gel onto Jimin's stomach.

Jimin nodded, it was cold and then warm, it was a strange feeling.

"You wanted the gender to be kept a secret correct?" asked Jaehwan looking at the screen and moving the machine around on Jimin's stomach.

Jungkook and Jimin nodded.

"Congratulations, your babies are perfectly healthy and their growth and development if fine for their age." Jaehwan said clapping his hands.

Jimin smiled widely before his smile faltered realizing something.

"Did you just say...babies.. as in plural?" Jungkook asked raising his eyebrows in surprise.

"You didn't know you have three little ones inside there, I thought you would know some kind of pregnant instinct and the fact that your belly is very big to just be for one child." said Jaehwan.

Jimin and Jungkook looked at each other but before they could say anything Taehyung yelled.

"Yay! I'm going to be an uncle to multiple children!!"

"You aren't even his brother..." Jungkook muttered under his breath.

"Three?!" Jimin asked in disbelief.

"How-" Jungkook started to say.

"You must have some good swimmers eh Jungkook." said Taehyung wiggling his eyebrows.

"W-What oh god please never mention "my swimmers" ever again!" Jungkook shouted.

"Kookie we are gonna have three bundles of cuteness!" Jimin exclaimed finally believing their situation and ignoring the two's bickering.

They left the clinic and went out to Jin and Namjoon's place to tell them the news.

"Three!?" Yoongi spit out his glass of blood making Hoseok laugh.

"Wow." was all Namjoon could say.

"They are gonna be so cute!! I can't wait!" Jin said sounding more excited than the rest.

"You have to let me babysit sometime okay!?" Hoseok pleaded.

"Trust me we are going to need all the help we can get." Jimin said.

Jungkook finally was allowed some alone time with Jimin for the first time in weeks. He rolled over to face his cute boyfriend.

Sometimes Jungkook loved these small moments when he would just be able to watch Jimin sleeping peacefully, it made him feel like everything was right in the world.

3 weeks later was the baby shower. Jungkook was pretty sure Taehyung invited any and everyone.

"Thank you." Jimin said as he was handed more baby shower gifts they had quite the growing pile of gifts.

There were lots of games and JImin opened the presents getting baby clothes, high chairs and the like. Finally it was dinnertime.

Jungkook stood up.

"I'd like to propose a toast to my beautiful Jimin and the three new life we're bringing to the world."

"Before I sit down there is also something else I'd like to say."

Jungkook walked over to Jimin.

"Jimin here has been with me through the good, bad, and worse, i'm not really great with all the affection things but he doesn't care and loves me anyways, he's never given up on me once and i've loved him since the day we met, i'm not great with human customs anymore but I wanted to participate in this one."

Jungkook bent down getting on one knee.

Jimin was already crying and was in tears.

"Park Jimin, my lovely boyfriend who had been with me through thick and thin..Will you marry me?" Jungkook asked.

Jimn felt many emotions wash over him the most prominent was happiness.

"Yes! Of course I will!" Jimin said leaping into Jungkook's arms.

"Hold on I got this ring thing for you."

The guests laughed at Jungkook's awkwardness.

He pulled a small box out of his pocket, he opened it revealing a beautiful, small, ruby ring.

Jimin loved it.

"I hope you didn't mind that I didn't go with the more traditional diamond but I thought this would suit you better."

"I love it!" Jimin exclaimed as Jungkook slipped it on his finger a flood of tears still running down his face.

Clapping, whistling and whooping surrounded the couple celebrating their engagement.

It truly was the best day ever.
