Chapter 6.

"Dude!"

I felt hands on my shoulders and something wet seeping into my shoes. My gaze followed Jadyn's mom's car until it disappeared around a corner. Looking down, I saw my shoe being soaked in milk. Des bent down and was quickly gathering all the groceries I had dropped. Des smacked my leg, "What the hell?"

Numbly, I bent down and started picking up the groceries with him. It wasn't until we got to the car and I sat down in my seat I took a breath in...

"Holy shit!"I cried leaning back in my chair.

Des jumped and started looking around frantically, "What?" What happened? Are you okay?"

"Jadyn,"I breathed.

Des sighed, "Is that why you're freaking out? Because I invited her to hang out? Listen, I don't even think she's gonna come over because honestly, she-"

"She was there,"I said clearly, interrupting Des.

"She was where?"

"Prince Slade's kingdom. She was there."I said.

"What?"Des scoffed. "Jadyn wasn't there, that's impossible."

"I know! But she was there!"I argued.

"No,"Des said buckling his seat belt.

We didn't talk the rest of the way back to the house but the fact that Jadyn was the girl from the kingdom or at least looked exactly like her hung over my head like a cloud. when we got home Des didn't tell the others, I guess because the idea of Jadyn being there got him thinking. Or because he knew they would all tell me the same thing and didn't want me to feel stupid. Either way, I was grateful. the guys helped us unload the groceries. Well, Boyd didn't really help, he just sat there eating half the stuff we just bought.

Jeb walked back into the kitchen from putting away the change I'd given him, "We've got another job."

Me and Boyd groaned.

"We just went shopping,"I whined gesturing at the huge amount of food that still needed to be put away.

"I know but Rapunzel is in trouble, they need all of us,"Jeb said sympathetically.

The guys slowly made their way to their rooms to get dressed but I found myself running to get my stuff. Now I could see if I was crazy or not. If Jadyn was really there. I got ready in record time, Jeb told us to arm ourselves medium dragon. That meant heavy weapons and armor. I was the first one ready. We went in the Portal Room and traveled to Prince Slade's kingdom.

We appeared just outside the castle next to one of the back doors that the servants took. Jeb lead us through there earning us some weird looks from the staff until one of them realized who we were and lead us straight to Prince Slade the royal jackass. When we reached the throne room Prince Slade was sitting on the throne, his leg bouncing like crazy while Slade bit his nails. Boyd made a sound of disapproval alerting Slade of our presence.

"Savers,"he said relieved.

Prince Slade stood and came over to us, "Please, you must help us. Rapunzel has been captured,"

"By who?"Jeb asked looking down at Slade.

"We don't know,"Prince Slade said exasperated.

"Was she taken by a human?"Monty asked.

"We don't know."Prince Slade said.

"Why would she be kidnapped?"Des asked.

"We don't know."Prince Slade repeated.
