"I'll call you when I get in. I'll text you updates periodically. I'm going to be responsible." Luke assures me as they are packing down the car for a guys trip this week.
"I said be safe, I didn't mean for it to come out as nagging." I apologize.
"I'm just nervous that's all." He bit his lip.
"About a guys trip?" I giggle.
"Look, this is our first guy trip that we are together for. We tell sex stories and that'll be awkward with Michael... And also... I've had a past with cheating when I drink and-" I cut him off figuring what this is about.
"You love me, you're not going to. Don't stress about it." I peck his lips sweetly.
"Those are expectations." He mocks me.
"Drive safe, don't be too stupid and take care of Mikey will you?" I roll my eyes and send him off.
I know Luke. I know he loves me and I know he's changed these few months. He's not capable of cheating on.
