For Mickey life was meant to be lived on the edge, it was her family motto.
After helping her father escape from a maximum security prison for only the most elite of criminals she finds that her father's life on the run was no longer her forte, where he chose to settle down in a foreign country she chooses to continue in her never ending need to flip the world on its axis. In a matter of months she goes from being a young runaway teenager to the most wanted criminal in the world for aiding in Loki' plan to overthrow the world. Her reason for betraying her fellow humans? She was bored, and the world had been cruel to her anyway, let it go up in flames!
And thus she becomes a prominent role in the eyes of Avengers, a key opponent to catch if they ever wanted to keep earth safe. Unfortunately for them she's even more of a mastermind then her father, as a teenager she holds the one ability they will never master.
Mickey is a inhumane. She can pass through walls and enter any facility with a simple thought.
With her father by her side and her own developing mind they manage to stay more then under the dirt, almost as if the world has swallowed them whole. With Mickey lost to them and her father buried even further down the Avengers think she will never be caught again. And then Hydra appears, bringing with them an endless line of villains far worse then anything Mickey had ever seen.
She appears to the Avengers, offering up a deal, a means to help them stop the evils attempting to corrupt the world in exchange for their witch hunt of her family to end. Reluctantly, they agree to her terms. With Mickey they manage to bring down not only Hydra but also Ultron. The girl, now more allies then enemies still has no trust in the world's heroes and disappears after each win.
After a consecutive amount of years in which it seemed that the Avengers would no longer need her abilities Mickey thinks all is well, and although she can't seem to give up her lifestyle she has managed to tone it down enough not to be caught just yet. And then Steve Rogers appears to her, with a deal, trick Tony Stark into believing she is on their side and the promise of complete sanctity for her and her father be fulfilled. She agrees with a skip in her step, seeming to like this version of Captain America who seems to want to play dirty so when Tony Stark comes knocking at her door asking for cooperation in the Accords she doesn't hesitate to agree.
And then all out war breaks out, forcing her to stay out despite her obvious resistance to the cause Tony fights but there is one silver lining, Peter Parker. Although the self proclaimed Spider-Man may be too good for Lockout herself.
