Mickey found that her head had been filled with guilt lately, with the trials and tribulations of right and wrong, and mostly with her position in both Steve and Tony's side. If she was being honest with herself she preferred to be absentminded in these things, instinct was a better decision maker then when she overthought every single thing in her life but sadly this was no longer an option for her.

After arriving to Brussels with Stark and Romanoff via helicopter they'd driven to some compound on the outskirts of the town and had decided to oversee the operation to extract Barnes from there. The brunette didn't understand why they hadn't just flown into the actual compound seeing as how she'd seen a flurry of Helicopters on the roof but her thoughts where then drowned out by the talk of Bucky. The German police were bringing him in, or so they thought, none of these official knew the actual warfare they were about to encounter. If there was one thing Steve Rogers would defy even the devil himself for it was Bucky Barnes.

Mickey had drifted off with the permission of Stark, this was to be the compound they would stay at while figuring out the incident in Austria, he had phrased it very carefully but the young girl understood, this was her new home wether she liked it or not. After hearing that most of the crowd arriving with them would be watching the extraction Mickey realized she could never control that many emotions with so many eyes on her so she had asked Tony to be set free and promptly was allowed to explore.

Explore was putting it loosely however, she instead went for the best view of the entrance to the compound, preferably a place where not much traffic happened. After a few strolls she had finally found the perfect place, a small walking strip that attached two building together, it overlooked the front of the compound and had promptly taken a seat against one of the metal railing supporting the weight.

Mickey knew this would be the way they entered, with police escorts and guns drawn on all of them. She sat, patiently tapping against her thigh and resisting the urge to pull out the small phone hidden at the waistband of her jeans. Tony had explained there was a room waiting for her somewhere in the compound, all her things already organized. She reminded herself to find a good hiding place for the cellphone before settling down.

A set of footsteps followed her through the narrow tunnel until they stopped directly beside her, Mickey finding a pair of loafers and a nice suit beside her before she found Tony Starks face.

Tony eyed her for a moment, her lips pouted with concern and eyes glazing over with worry. He never knew Mickey to be so full of emotional for another person. "You really trust him don't you?"

"I don't think he deserves to be treated like an animal, any of them." Mickey responded sincerely, pressing her hands tighter together.

"Steve's a big boy Mick, he knows better then to take on a full army by himself." Tony attempted to reassure her, sticking his hands into his pockets. The look on her face softened him, a strange sensation but enlightened over the last few years. He cared more for the girl then she would ever know.
