Kovu

“Who are you?” Kovu asked the woman who had told him to sleep.

“My name is Zarya Kirian. I am your mother.”

“Yeah... no... you are dead…” Kovu replied sarcastically

“I sealed the remnants of my energy into you so I could protect you. I was a knight. I used to be part of the Knights of the Solstice. They are commissioned to carry goods across galaxies and protect merchants. It was always an honor to get in. There were other independent groups but the Knights of the Solstice were the elite. Anyway I lost my position as a Knight when you were born.”

“Why?”

“Well, you are not full Samian. I had an affair. I put a mist on you. Your father is a hawkae. That means you are part Hawkine. Anyway I have to go… but listen to your brother.”

Kovu woke up drenched in sweat. He walked down the hallway to the bathroom and took a shower. He wanted to train. He felt the cold water run down his body. His muscles loosened and he began to relax. Kovu then walked out and wrapped a towel around his waist. He walked back into his room and put on some boxers. He walked to the training room and heard talking. He paused outside the door and listened.

“Kovu has been asleep for awhile.” Derek said.

“Yeah he was tired. Naos fought that day too. Her team seemed confused.” Julie said. “What were their names again?”

“Yeah I think her team was formed spontaneously. Their names were Auva, Edasich, and Sirius.” Ben replied. “Anyway I wonder what they will be called.”

“Derek? I saw the video of ‘Naos’. Why does our armor look similar to hers?” Sky asked.

“It’s a good design.” Derek said.

“So I was thinking…” Julie said.

“You were what!” Ben said with an appalled face.

“Shut up Ben.”

“Sheesh I was only joking.”

“Your jokes wound me.” Julie gasped pretending to need air.

“I’m so sorry Julie! Don’t die on me!” Ben shouted while Julie mockingly fell to the ground. “Julie! NOOOOOOOO!” Ben cried out falling to his knees.

“Julie… Ben…” Derek warned. Julie stood up.

“As I was saying, I was thinking that if Kovu introduced himself as Cybertron Arcana, We need names too.”

“What do you have in mind?” Ben asked.

“I am not sure. How about we pick our own names? I like Cyna. Cyna Arcana.” Julie said.

“Arcana?” Derek asked.

“Why not? We are a family in a way. Why not share a name?

“I like Forest.” Sky said.

“Forest Arcana? It fits.”

“Also I have something to tell you…. I am not from Terra or as you call it, Earth.”

“Figures.” Ben said and shrugged.

“What?” Sky was confused by the lack of surprise.

“I have been with Kovu for almost the entire time he has been on Terra. When would he have the time to find a blue-green haired medic without me knowing.”

“True, but what about you two?” Sky asked.

“He took the ship.” Derek started.

“The ship's log said he went a long distance.” Julie finished.
