Kovu

"I am sorry about your job." Kovu said to Mr. Hertz. They entered the building.

"I never liked her much anyway. I only work here because I needed the job. I can just go find a job in another town maybe Gold Valley."

"I might have a better solution. How about you work for me? It may not pay much at first but I need someone with your math skills."

"Why my skills?" Mr. Hertz said. He opened the door to his office and started to pack away his personal belongings.

"You helped me to solve one of the more difficult problems for me." Ben said. Mr Hertz packed silently his brow furrowed deep in thought.

"Sure why not." Mr. Hertz finally said. "Call me Derek."

"If you want to we can all go to borg industries. You can get settled. We also have some things to clarify."

"Sure" Julie and Derek said.

Ben walked out to his car. Kovu walked with him. Julie walked to her light blue 2010 Ford Shelby. Coincidentally Derek and Ben also had blue cars. Ben had a teal 2010 Chevy Camaro SS. Mr. Hertz, not at rich as the other two, had a deep blue 2010 Nissan Maxima; not a sports car but it got the job done and looked good while doing it. Ben smiled. The upgrades he could do with the three sexy vehicles were endless. "Let's go home." Ben said and started his car. He loved hearing it roar to life. The fierceness in it's growl gave the vehicle an intimidating look. They drive home accidentally lead Julie, Ben, and Derek to racing. The growls echoed through the stone, concrete, steel, and glass walls. The vibrations through the floorboards seemed to excite the three more as they drove faster and faster. Finally they reached the building. Ben quickly opened the door to the Borg industries maintenance bay. He suddenly turned the wheel and did a donut right into his spot. Julie's car followed the same way then the Maxima. He revved and the growl roared through the building. Derek wouldn't say no to a challenge. The grows echoed through the walls and into the hospital. Chris was changing a patient's bandages and he heard the growls.

"What is that?" The patient asked. "It sounds like a plane engine."

"Planes don't come near here." Chris said before sighing. "It's my brother. He is probably in the indoor garage he built for borg industries. He most likely has people with him so he feels the need to show off."

"Well judging from the different growls I hear three cars." another patient said. "the loudest is the Camaro. It's got a distinct roar."

"Yup that's my brother. A friend bought him that car." Chris said. It was silent for a second. "Uh oh." the roar of three cars revving at the same time echoed through the halls. Chris instantly walked to the intercom and scanned his wristbands that proved he was a doctor not a patient. DING DONG a bell rang. "Ben I have patients that are trying to sleep. Please refrain from unnecessary car revving." Chris was met with laughter it wasn't through the intercom it echoed through hollow halls sending chills up Chris's spine.

"Sure thing bro. Sorry about that. See you at dinner. Oh and I got suspended from school." Ben's voice said through the intercom. Chris went back to work but he knew two things. That laugh wasn't Ben's laugh and it could only mean something bad was going to happen, it sounded evil.

Ben turned off his car when he heard Chris's announcement through the car speakers he had connected them to the intercom and had extremely loud speakers all over the room. Ben activated his intercom. "Sure thing bro. Sorry about that. See you at dinner. Oh and I got suspended from school." Ben said and started to shut the garage door. He saw Julie and Derek turn off their cars. "Follow me." Ben ordered. They walked down a hallway. The lights flickered on in sequence. The rows illuminated and lead the way. Ben led them to a room that was illuminated only by the the hallway lights. It was obviously the meeting room in the center was a large see through screen. As Ben led them into the room a sudden burst of light caused everyone to cover their eyes. "Sorry I should've warned you." Ben said. The three opened their eyes again and saw the room was filled with tv's everywhere. Each one was muted and showed news from around the world. The screen in the center glowed and requested a password. Ben sighed and sat on a rolling chair. The others followed his example.
