CHAPTER 8

Lory's POV

I woke in the morning lackadaisically feeling a bit exhausted after what happened to my life this past few days,and it gives me continues headache.My feet take me to the bathroom which is connected to my room and as I expected the wonderful aroma and ambience inside the room that still gives me that cozy and warm feeling everytime im here.also,I can't stop myself from not appreciating the interior design of this bathroom because it perfectly shows of how wealthy the Moon's are.

I turn on both hot and cold water to give me that perfect warm feeling.As I was waiting for the water to reach its limit,I tale off my lingerie and dropped it in the floor,once there was enough water,I step into my warm bath and my muscles instantly gives me the chilling effect as the water touches my skin.

After a few hour relaxing at my bathtub,I pull out the bath plug and went out to the bathtub while grabbing my towel and quickly dry my skin before I put on my rose gold silk bath robe.

Since today is Saturday and I don't have my etiquette class today that's why I decided to meet up my friends since it's been a while since we've shown each other.

As my driver,driving me towards the designated place where we agreed to meet ay naisipan ko na lang na tawagan si Cody muna to greet him good morning,pero nakailang ring na siya at ilang tawag na ako pero wala paring sumasagot,kaya bigla akong kinabahan dahil anong oras na at impossible naman na hindi pa siya nagigising ngayon,kaya sinubukan ko ulit nang ilang beses pero nung wala na talagang sumasagot ay sumuko na din ako at naiinis na ibinalik ang cellphone ko sa purse ko.

And after a few minutes we finally arrived at the restaurant where I saw my friends happily waving at me through the floor to ceiling glass wall that's why in my surprise I laugh at their reaction before I wave back at them.

Nung nakapasok na ako aya agad na akong tumabi kay sophie yung maiksing buhok na kaibigan ko."OMG Donnah!how's life?"she asked excitedly.

"Well,it's great and in the same time frustrating."I said looking down at the menu.

"Really?why is that frustrated?diba nakukuha mo naman lahat ng gusto mo dun lahat ng kailangan mo kompleto na ano pa hinahanap mo?"tanong naman si Zoeh sakin habang umiinom sa tea niya.

"Syempre there's a lot of new policies,meet new people,a lot of adjustment and of course confusing past,idagdag niyo pa yung step sister ko na kay ubod ng sama."then I rolled an for even uttering remembering here or imagined her face .

Napabuntong hininga si Sophie sabay sabi"Syempre that is part of your new life,hindi mo yan kailangan ikinagulat yan because that is so normal but for your step-sister?jan ko masasabi na yan yung nagpapa-frustrate sayo and that is one thing I know for sure."sabay kinindatan niya ako.

"Naku Donnah,kung may gagawin man yung masama sayo just call us we'll be there."Bryce said,the musician in our group acting like a superman while putting his both hand besides his waist and bending his back forward.

"You crazy!"sabay nagtawanan kaming lahat.

And yes,I know that you are wondering why kung bakit hindi ko kasama ngayon sila Sofia and Ally since bestfriend ko naman din sila,actually,I also planned that Idea but remembering na may bata na inaalagaan na si Sofia kaya naisipan ko na lang na bibisitahan na sila next time kung saan sila may free time kasi pareho silang busy dahil si Ally naman ay asikasong-asikaso sa pinapatakbo nilang companiya kasama ang asawa niya na si Gabriel.

"So,what's the feeling of being engaged?"Zoeh asked teasingly while just staring at her face it seems like there are both huge hearts beating on her eyes.

"Definitely heaven,but the downfall for that is we are now separated by sea because of a sudden business training or something like that with his MommyLa and DaddyLo since he will be the Heir of their dynasty.And by the way,saan nga pala si Ashleen,hindi ko na siya masyado napapansin ah,is she still sad because of what happened to his boyfriend Gabby?"tanong ko sakanila.
