Lory's POV

Ilang oras na ang nakalipas simula nung nalaman namin na lumayas si Hattie dito sa mansion. Nalaman lang namin na umalis siya nung pinatawag na siya sa kwarto niya para sabihin na sabay-sabay na kaming lahat kumain ng umagahan ngunit nung kinatok na ng maid namin ang pintuan ng kwarto niya ay kahit isa walang sumasagot,Kaya napilitan ang maid namin na pumasok sa kwarto niya at dun namin napagtanto na lumayas nga siya dito sa mansyon dahil wala na ron ang mga gamit niya. Sinubukan na namin siyang hanapin at nagtanong-tanong narin kami sa mga kakilala niya para malaman namin kung saan siya namin pwedeng matunton,ngunit kahit isa din sakanila ay walang nakakaalam kung nasaan na napadpad si Hattie ngayon.

Mom and Dad are now paying a huge amount of money on our very own private investigator to find Hattie,and yes,we hired a private investigator,dahil ayaw na daw nila Mommy and Daddy na palakihin tong problema na ito at ipaalam sa mga media dahil magiging malaking issue nanaman toh and they are now dying sick dealing with those reporters and trying to defend our family's name.

That's why as much as they can,they tried to search for Hattie in a sneaky way so that nobody will know about it.

It's already noon and still we don't have any trace or update about where we could possibly find Hattie.

"Maybe she really felt guilty after what she have done."Sofia told me while chuckling and smirking.

Since someone reported to my father about the fight last night,Dad went home with ranging anger especially after he find's out about Hattie's secret desire to his Son James.

"Maybe,she can't stand facing all of us after the embarrassing discovery of her tiny little secrets."I said rolling my eyes and then smirked at the thought.

"Maybe?we don't know."and we both exchanging knowing looks before she shrugged her shoulder that make us both burst into laughter.

While we both enjoying gossiping about Hattie,my phone suddenly rings that makes us both stop from what we are doing. That's why I fetched my phone out of my pocket to look at the person that is calling and when I saw the caller's I.D. Said unknown,my curiosity suddenly hits me.

"Who's that?"Sofia asked still grinning at me.

"I don't know,maybe it's Hattie?"I said doubting that it could really be her,before I pressed the answer button and put the phone near to my ear. "Hello?"I said it in a suspicious tone.

"Uhmm,is this Lory Rostova Moon?"When I notice the person is far from Hattie's signature cold hearted tone that's when I started talking formal.

"Yah,that's me.why?"nagtataka kong tanong sakaniya.

"Uhmm,it's me,Athena Elgort,August's Mom."she said in a hesitant voice.

"Oh yeah,I remember!how can I help you Mrs. Elgort?"I asked in a delightful tone while Sofia is just looking at me in confusion.

"We're wondering if you see or know where my son August is?well,you are his bestfriend so we assumed that maybe magkasama kayo ngayon or something."sabi ni Mrs. Athena in a nervous tone which makes me frown.

"I'm so sorry Mrs.Elgort pero wala kasi siyang nabanggit sakin kung may lakad ba siya o magkikita ba kami ngayon eh."I said casually but still there's a hint of curiosity in my voice,hoping that she'll explain the situation furthermore.

"Really?!Oh my god!"she said it with a shaking voice while I can clearly hear through the phone how she breath heavily.

"Why?what is happening?"kinakabahan ko na ding sabi sakaniya habang si Sofia naman ay napahawak sa braso ko nung napansin na niya akong nag-alala na din.
