CHAPTER 26

Lory's POV

"Are you sure that this is the place?"Casey asked dubiously while we both staring at the tall unfinished building.

I sighed before I looked at her not really sure if we made the right choice." I hope so."

"I guess we'll find out sooner."and we both now started to walk towards the entrance of the building while we clasped our hands together and wished that we could still get out of this building complete and alive.

Habang dahan-dahan kaming naglalakad papunta sa loob ay konting ingay lang o kalabog na maririnig namin ay agad kaming napapatalon sa gulat. Hindi ko na napipigilan ang puso ko sa pagtibok ng sobrang bilis na halos pakiramdam ko ay magkakaroon na din ako ng sakit katulad ng dating sakit ng kaibigan ko na si Ally. Alam namin na itong pinapasok namin ngayon ay pwedeng ikakapahamak ng buhay namin,pero kapag tuwing naiisip ko lahat ng mga nagawa at naitulong ni August sakin nung mga araw na kailangan ko ng masasandalan. It just gives me the strength and motivation to face my fears. If this is the only way to return the favor,then I'll do it,even if my life is at stake.

I got out of my thoughts when suddenly Casey spoke again.

"Bago tayo umakyat,sigurdo na ba talaga tayo sa desisyon na gagawin natin?"paninigurado ni Casey sakin.

"If this is the only way to find out what is really happening,then I think....that I don't really have much choice." I said it with a shaking and stuttering voice because of the anxiety that I am feeling right now.

"Then if that is the case,I'll be coming with you no matter what,because that is what friends are for right?"Casey said it positively which helps to slightly lessen my anxiousness before she squeezed my hands and smiled and me bravely.

We were halfway towards the second floor when suddenly my phone beeped again for the third time that make us both startled in surprise and automatically scanned the place for possible violent reaction to whoever heard the beeping sound of my phone.

We both looked to each other in relief when we assure ourselves that nobody hear it before I took my phone out of my pocket and looked at the person texting me.

"Who's texting?"Casey asked eagerly.

"It's the same person who texted the address."I told her in a shocking tone before I open the message that shows the direction where they bring August.

"Anong sabi?!"nagmamadali niyang tanong sakin while she's trying to look at the screen  of my phone to see the text.

"It shows direction,look."then I hand her my phone.

After seeing the photo we both sighed heavily and stared to one another for a second before we proceeded on our way towards to August.

"Do we have any plan?"Nagtataka niyang tanong sakin. "Because I don't think that this is a good idea to invade on our enemies territory without any plans."thank God she reminded me.

Dahil sa sobrang kaba ko at sobrang pagmamadali ni hindi ko man lang naisip na kung ano ang posibilidad na mangyari samin kapag makaharap namin ang nag-kidnapped kay August,basta ang saakin lang ay maitakas ko siya dito.

"Oh yeah!I almost forgot."I said in relief.

"Should I call someone now or a police for a backup?"she asked.

"I don't know,kasi kapag tatawag na tayo ng police ngayon tapos hindi naman pala totoo yung sinasabi dito sa text pwede tayong kasuhan ng trespassing,since we forge here without any permission,magiging isang malaking issue nanaman to."kinakabahan kong sabi sakaniya habang napapakagat labi na ako kasi pakiramdam ko ay nanunuyo na ang mga laway ko dahil sa takot na nararamdaman ko ngayon.
